Yes, this was shot at simple daylight. I took the shots close to a window.
i got my plum bands and i can say its more purple than people are letting on, might be a lighting thing.
i also noticed with this band that it didn't have the same "new" texture that the others have. Almost feels used but it's not...odd

WOW! That picture makes me really want Plum! It looks so much more purpleish there!
It’s definitely a lighting thing. It can take on quite a purple hue for sure. It’s funny you say about the feel because I felt it already looked a tiny bit shiny after I took it off. I thought it may take on the worn for a while sheen, faster than other bands.
yeah it almost felt worn as soon as i touched it!..the solo loop version doesn't feel that way

One of those does a supreme disservice to people who look at it.
I think it’s definitely lighting dependent. With the right lighting you can make Dragonfruit look like Rose red, or Orange to look like Product Red...
But, yeah. Apple does tend to release similar colors every now and then..
As always, it is a lighting thing. If you shoot the photos in artificial light, or in a sunny warm afternoon sun, they might take a maroon like tint. I usually try to take photos at daylight but indoors, close to a window, with no artificial light; but then, I shoot with my iPhone, for lack of a better camera at the moment (my 13-year-old DSLR has gone into retirement). I tweak the photo only as much to make the colors look similar to what my eyes see.
For me, plum is wine. A mix of very dark red with a very faint blueish tint. Some call it purple, but then, purple for me is ultraviolet. Actually, I find it funny that the Bandbreite app classifies Plum under "Purple"
Quick update, ICYMI. Both the app and the chart have been updated with the recently released bands in Northern Blue, Kumquat, and Plum. Get inspired what to wear next!

Yeah for some reason I swear when we got the images from Chargie gold was a rose gold pin with a non-reflective pin side, but this clearly would be a perfect match for my bronze (getting confirmation as to the shade irl). Alas I barely have time to wear sport bands and that includes Hermes. And of course must make budget for the Hermes sili now

They look almost identical. lol
I love the color so if the Northern Blue is made from the newer/thicker/heftier material. I may sell my Cactus, that band feels so light/cheapish to me but I love the color
It’s funny because my Cactus feels the thickest and most premium of all my bands. The recent Deep Navy and Cyprus Green feel thin, cheap and plasticky compared to it.
The quality seems to be quite random
see a rose gold pin hermes would be a dream but I can pass on gold since i have a regular hermes one already
They’ve done Aubergine in I think Classic and modern buckles.
