Thanks for the welcome all. Got my link bracelet from him after reading all the recommendations here and can’t fault him one bit, no import or VAT charges once it got to the UK either so will be happy purchase from him again.

Finding good “yoinks” in the UK for 40mm isn’t easy. Had one or two from eBay but had to pay close to full price for a good few of the collection so far. American listings have some great prices but the postage and import fees don’t make it worthwhile. Will just keep hunting, all part of the fun.
Yeah we do seem to get the short straw with band deals here in Blighty. They do come up though if you wait long enough! Chargie is a great source though for harder to find bands.

Hi everyone, got my first Apple Watch - series 6 space grey aluminium, in early December and had decided (as a sensible person would) that I just needed the one strap for it. I deliberated for a few days before settling on the black Nike sport loop. It arrived and I was happy with the choice.

Out of interest thought I’d take a look to see what previous bands had been released just out of curiosity and stumbled upon this thread. Eight or so weeks later and...........

So many thanks to you all my bank balance is a little worse off but I’m enjoying the ride and still looking to add a few more to the growing collection.

I was hoping to have a nice orange sport band in the collection with it being my favourite colour and had the Kumquat sport band arrive earlier in the week. However man, what a disappointment, it looks nothing like any of the pictures I had seen of it online. Far from being the pure shade of orange all the online pictures indicated it would be it is actually very pale and washed out in my opinion, far too pastel like. I tried taking pictures of the band myself to understand why it looked so different and lo and behold in the pictures I took it looked wonderful but sadly nothing like it actually does in the flesh. I think Hermes orange would be more what I’m after but £100+ is beyond what I’m willing to pay, alas I’ll have to wait for Apple to finally release a true orange or hope for an eBay miracle. I might have to get an olive flak nike sport band from chargerstore to make up for the disapointment. 😆
I think we all have that moment of “look at all the oranges! Oh okay the expensive one is the best shade”

You have to catch the Ti pin back in just the right light, tilting it back and forth, to see that it has that slightly warmer hue. Much easier to deduce identity by the fact of it being the only lighter gray in 40/44mm. Brand new it also has a gummy feel.
Well, I just got confirmation: yes, it is the titanium light gray from a Series 5 Apple Watch Edition. I just asked the seller and she confirmed :)

Desert Sand/Black (rainy day not the best to bring out the peanut butter)

Is it bad if I scroll up and down on this for like 10 mins?

I want gray ceramic to make a comeback. Graphite needs a partner in the edition family.

Figured I'd put this here - after realizing how valuable the Light Gray titanium Sport Band I got was, I've decided I'd definitely be interested in trading it for an Ultraviolet Sport Band since they are roughly the same value and I've been wanting Ultraviolet for so long. Here is my Marketplace post if anyone is interested: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...40mm-for-ultraviolet-sport-band-38mm.2282541/
Not sure you’re gonna get any takers for that. UV is a LOT harder to come by than Light Gray.

Very nice diversity in the collection! Would be cool to see them laid out flat some time. (...)
So this is how it looks like after a few more months! I don't buy bands like crazy but I do try to find a couple nice ones every month. I wear all of them on a more or less regular basis, even though this currently means, which one do I pick for WFH...

edit: FWIW, when I discovered this topic, I had 25 bands... 😁

A beautiful collection!!Wish I could give it double love buttons!

Found this Gen 1(?) Black Leather Loop on our local Ebay. It’s brand new and never used!
The original retail box is just great!

I forgot they came in that box. I do of course still have it; I just haven't looked for... years I guess, and I'd forgotten.

I like the almost pure blackness of the OG with my SBSS watch in a way I never did with SS, so I only started wearing mine less than a year ago.

Yeah I used to wear my OG Black Leather loop during the Fall and Winter with my Series 0 Stainless. Haven't really worn it since I bought my Space Black Series 4 Stainless (I usually go with a Nike Sport Loop or my Space Black Link Bracelet), but might have to take it out again for awhile.
