One of my iOS 13 beta pet peeves is still there - on iPad, divider between two apps moves to the wrong place (vertically) and stops responding unless you kill one of the apps and replace it.

I use shared albums for that and just include all the users I want to see it.

Shared albums require you to take a few actions in order to share a photo and put it into your main library. Plus if you want (as in our case) your 30,000+ photo library on all devices using separate appleIDs and shared albums as you suggest, you'd have to first duplicate that library on every device (in our case 8 devices) then buy the storage in iCloud to house 8 copies of essentially the same 100GB photos library if you want iCloud photo library enabled on all devices as we do.

By using the same appleID, a new photo goes into your one main library with no delays or extra steps & all can see it & there's only one copy of the library that you have to pay for in iCloud. The photos app should be set up like messages, where you sign into it with either the same or a different appleID separately from your main one that you signed into your iPhone/iCloud account with.

And Contacts needs the same treatment.

Hmm so larger LTE icon and wallpaper is all that you got out of all the updates and changes available for iOS 13? Also you are aware there is a shared album feature that you can do precisely what you want and have yourself and your family members be participants of that particular album, yes?
No, I agree there are valuable things in the new iOS. But it pains me to see window dressing items in there while real functionality that could make things easier for people go wanting, release after release. Yes, I am very aware of shared albums. I detailed our situation in my reply to Diane B, please read if you're interested. I've spoken to many and seen many forum posts of folks who are in our exact situation (basically sharing your entire photos library & just-taken photos to all devices effortlessly). It just feels like it wouldn't take too much effort to implement the changes I am suggesting. It also feels like apple has designed this particular feature in a way that potentially forces you to pay for more iCloud storage.

all i see is the black screen in my accord, pilot and Q7.

CarPlay has been working nearly flawlessly on my A5 Sportback. The only issues I encountered are the occasional drop of navigation mid-route and very infrequent loss of radio volume control after receiving an incoming phone call.

Is Light Mode / Dark Mode a Control Center Toggle or do you have to go deeper into settings to switch back and forth?

It has been a control center option since the earlier betas. Long-press on the brightness slider in control center, and an “appearance” toggle comes up which allows switching from light to dark.

Terrific there's new wallpaper and a larger LTE icon, but how about a real usability improvement, like allowing sharing an entire photos library between different appleIDs? We are forced to log into our i-devices with the same appleID to get around Apple's lack of user friendliness for this common problem among families.

Ssssssh! New Animoji’s and unicorns are all you need. Don’t tell Apple’s design team otherwise.

Did they fix the slow ass WiFi? IPP 11 PB3 I’m pulling 5mb on 2.4/5ghz 1gbit connection at home and around town. Lte speeds are bad too.

(Comcast) WiFi is smoking fast on my 12.9 IPP on iPadOS 13 Beta 4: 14 ms latency, 527 Mbps down, 41.4 Mbps up, 0 packet loss. Are you sure the issue is not your WiFi?

Not sure if a CarPlay bug or Volkswagen implementation bug but with the last beta, sometimes audio wouldn’t work on initial CarPlay connection. Turning volume up just showed the mute icon. It could be fixed by unplugging and plugging again but a little annoying if you don’t notice before you start driving... Hoping this is fixed in this beta or a future one.

It’s a Volkswagen issue. I’ve had it since I got my 2019 Jetta when I was on iOS 12. It’s very random when it happens. You don’t have to unplug the phone, just tap radio and then come back to CarPlay. It’ll work.

I’m pretty sure this has existed the last two iOS updates.

This release is much more stable and snappy for me. Also a few apps that didn’t launch at all in the last beta are launching again.

I am also getting great WiFi (Spectrum) on my 9.7" iPad Pro running DP5: 18ms latency, 487mbps down, 23.7mbps up, 0 packet loss.

Not as good as some of my other devices (MBP), but plenty fine for me!

Most likely his internet, slight chance it is his device.

Yeah. This was introduced w pb3. Tried home and fast access points around town. Plenty fast with pb2.

I've come to hate the "move goals". It constantly feels like I'm being clubbed over the head to get up off my @ss and exercise, even when I wake up and...start exercising. :(

And when my watch plaintively whined (every damned day) that I'm "usually farther ahead by this time of the day", it made me want to punch somebody.

So one day after my watch battery gave it up and left me with a blank watch, I finally figured out the solution. Eliminate notifications = eliminate 95% of my stress.

Or just leave the watch at home. Life is so much better now because I occasionally leave the watch at home. I'm so calm now, I don't even need the "Breathe" app!:D

Not sure if it has already been commented or not but they have also removed the ability to swipe left or right on an article ion apple news, instead you have to long press not he article to reveal a tab action menu. Swiping right now just opens the navigation/

I'll upgrade just for the new Move goals. I'm scheduled to reach 1,000 next week, so now I'll have a whole new set of goals.

I did the same thing — turned off notifications. It tremendously improved watch's battery life, and I don't find myself missing anything important.

Sorry to hear you no longer enjoy the Move goals, though. For me, exercise (and motivation to exercise) is my main use of the watch.

Is this with the new Watch software? I never get bugged about meeting move goals.

I have the exact same issue with Fiat, but on iOS 12. Drives me crazy. Also weird, while driving, the sound also goes to mute frequently when stopping at a red light or driving slowly. It’s too weird. Don’t know if it’s a bug or my aging iPhone 6S.
