I find the SolidSuit easier to remove than the Playproof because of the lower lip, and Playproof wasn't really hard to remove in the first place.

I got my black leather for 6s and love it. The feel is great and the button is easier to press compared to playproof.

I do however find a lip a bit less than the playproof though, not sure if it is just me.

Ok I think you just sold me. The power button was so hard to press on the play proof. It's easier on the new one huh? And grippy?? This may now be the holy grail of cases. I need to order right away.

I've seen several comments about slippiness of the PlayProof and difficulty of power button, but I haven't experienced either one of these issues.

My PlayProof is a powdery matte finish that may be more slippy than some cases but definitely less so than the phone itself.

The power button is a cinch. Super easy to press without issue. Certainly MUCH easier to press than my Tech21 Evo Mess. The power button on that was/is awful.

I'd like to wait for Amazon but I'm not sure I can. Does anyone know how soon they hit Amazon after the initial release?

I completely agree about the buttons. PlayProof is fine, and SolidSuit is also fine. The PlayProof is rather slippery, though :)

How are you guys getting it already? It says it ships mid, end of June. I ordered leather one on Saturday. Do you think they will ship it today?

So a follow up to my earlier thoughts - on the good side the solidsuit is still as protective as the playproof. I unintentionally tested it by dropping it from about 4 feet onto a solid rough concrete floor. It hit on the top corner, bounced and hit again center top and then landed face down. No damage at all to the phone, but unfortunately the softer outer material of the case doesn't hold up as well as the harder plastic of the playproof and now there's some good sized dents in my brand new case.

Did you have a screen protector on? I'm wondering if the case saved it or the screen protector.

While still waiting for my order to be shipped, I am seeing comments about the leather like finish of the SolidSuit peeling/wearing away after a few days of usage. Trying to find out if the units yet to be shipped are going to be free of this and/or other defects they've referenced. Has anyone that has been using this case come across anything like the above mentioned, or could you see that potentially happening? I'm very careful with my phone as it is and I REALLY want this product to shine. However, in seeing some of Evolutive Labs past mistakes being repeated, I am in the middle of optimism and skepticism.

Kristin and Aaron certified lol. Here's the link the Aaron. I believe Kristen has already posted. He doesn't go into a great amount of detail because hes Already done that in a few other rhinoshield reviews.

Indeed! Both of these reviewers create excellent content with thorough and unbiased reviews. I subscribe to each of their channels and I love the variety in each.

Additionally, I am still awaiting a response from Evolutive Labs. In my prior correspondence, they stated being aware of quality defects in their current line of SolidSuits, so I am hoping that with what has yet to be released, such defects will not be prevalent.

Good to know. Please keep us updated on their response. I pre ordered the leather solid suit a couple weeks ago so I'm hoping for shipping soon.

Will do. I'm right there with you. I too pre-ordered, on day 1 as it stands, and have still yet to receive any shipping notifications, either. Hoping for some good news from them!

Thanks! So nice to hear! I hope you get your case soon, and that it lives up to your expectations :)

Now I'm tempted to try this case. Disappointing that the carbon fiber one is slick though. My Evutec has the carbon fiber look along with the grippiness. I think I'll wait for the iPhone 7 before I try this though

Meh. On their Kickstarter page, Evolutive Labs states the following:

"Hello Guys,

It seems like a very small portion of the people who received their SolidSuit are experiencing an issue with the quality of the outer layer. Please make sure to contact us by email (support@evolutivelabs.com) and provide pictures. If you could provide an explanation of how you think it may have happened, it would also help us greatly!

In the meantime, we are receiving more products this week and we will resume shipping of the rewards shortly. An update will come to tell you guys more about this.

Once again, if you have any question about the shipping, the tracking, or the product itself, please make sure to contact our support team (support@evolutivelabs.com) and they will do their best to help you asap!"

Unfortunately, they are not addressing the central issue here, rather minimizing it. In my experience, they do seem to be somewhat notorious for tip toeing around things. I can honestly say that after this is all said and done, I will no longer be finding myself supporting their company in any regard. I completely understand that there is always going to be unforeseen outcomes, but the way in which those outcomes are handled can either help or hinder. Much to my dismay, I've been met with the latter of the two. I'm certainly not trying to bash them and I do wish them a better company in the future than they are in the present.

I couldn't agree more.

After receiving the SS, I was totally disappointed in the quality and I find the PP far superior. However, I wont be using either of their products for my 6s Plus, or any phone in the future. I was really unimpressed with how they do business from their kickstarter etc..

That's disappointing. I am going to still give it a shot and hope that I am not one of the "small group of users" thanks for the update.

I'm not sure what issues people have seen, I've been using mine continuously since I got it and no issues at all. I also don't understand what the issue is with their response, seems pretty reasonable to me? It just seems like you are complaining without ever having seen an actual problem yet, how can you complain about a product you haven't actually used yet?

Thank you for sharing your own thoughts on the product you received. I've seen you post in similar threads and I find what you have to say to be both accurate and helpful.

As for current issues...I have come across a number of statements not only speaking to the repeat issues of the case materials separating, but also a new issue now of the leather like finish peeling off and/or wearing away. Again, I'm quite pleased that you have faced no such experience, and I can only hope that I have the same degree of fortune as you. This was not the scenario with my PlayProof, as it suffered separation.

I am speaking to the result of my own personal experiences and correspondence with the company. It is not a tirade of complaints, but rather me voicing my bewilderment at Evolutive Labs failure to be as transparent as they should be and in a timely manner, especially considering all those who have helped to fund their brand and aid in their success. Personally, I feel as though their communication should have been, and should still be, much more abundant. For those who have already received their rewards, that is fantastic. However, for those of us that have not and are receiving excuses as opposed to actual answers, it is not at all reassuring.

As I've stated a few posts prior, I am not bashing them and I absolutely wish them a better company tomorrow than they are today. That being said, to avoid future mishaps, I also wish they would not over promise only to under deliver. For me, it is all about the way in which a situation is handled and these views are my own. Whether they are agreed or disagreed upon, I am using the forum as a platform of expression and am certainly not trying to impose said views upon anyone. Just sharing
