You made a crack about americans being fat. I was just pointing out that the country you're in is also having an obesity epidemic. So do I want to point out your hypocrisy? Yeah, I do.

And again, your comment has absolutely nothing specific to the USA. This app is available in the UK along with many other countries, if it's contributing to an obesity problem (which is frankly a stupid claim to make anyway), it's doing it everywhere.

Well your hypocritical to point out the hypocrisy in that certain topic.

And I would also like to add: WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH matey..... I DID NOT STATE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM THAT FACEBOOK MAKES AMERICANS FAT!!!

You are quoting the entirely WRONG person on that one mate. If ANYONE is going to think or state an iPhone app makes you fat, then you IMO have psychological problems.

Brits invented the first computers; everything else follows from that!

Brits invented the first 'computing engines', being able to make predefined calculations. But the first programmable, modern computer, was invented and build in Germany.

And still I can't block Lucky Slots or Song Pop or whatever's the latest stupid App of the week notifications without logging in on a computer. I don't know anyone who logs in to FB on a PC yet we have to deal with this crippled App.

but steve jobs said that HTML5 is da awesome and the future of everything

Don't pretend to be smart, because you're pulling this out of context and making a fool of yourself.

The HTML5 claim was in regards to browser technology... namely the need to drop Adobe Flash. Native applications had nothing to do with this argument.

;)

Much faster! But, unfortunately, the app still lacks the ability to share content.

Rumor is, the share capability will have to wait for iOS 6 and its better integration with Facebook.

Anyone else get updated to Timline after updating the FB app?

Coincidence! The forced upgrade to Timeline has been going on for the last several weeks/months. Facebook forced me to it about 2 weeks ago, yet, my wife hasn't been forced into it yet.

That's slander of what Steve Jobs has actually said... HTML5 is great for web pages to replace flash BUT NATIVE APPS in OBJECTIVE C are always best. Why do you think all of iOS doesn't use HTML5?

Just one thing.

Before, I can open an image and see how many images I can still scroll and view.
This feature is missing.

Great, much Faster. But still need to add back some features.

Update for Android!

I know this is for iOS but come on! Update it for Android as well! I swear. Some developers like Facebook only care about iOS and not Android. Android's Facebook app is slow and doesn't update. So frustrating.

Just downloaded the latest version of FACEBOOK for iOS but i wonder where are the DELETE BUTTONS and SHARE BUTTONS for the photos? And changing the cover photo is gone. Or did i just missed them? Can someone tell me pls? Thanks.

I wish they will bring back the "via iPhone" in every status update, just like the old days. It's annoying to see so many status updates via Blackberry.

Not a bad update. Much better than its predecessor. But no new features like the ability to share a wall post or picture right from the newsfeed.

Meh. At least it isn't as clunky as the old one. I can delete the bookmark to Facebook.com from my home screen now.

Unbelievable that Facebook with its amount of employees takes this long to build a new App.
