I'm partial to Fat Tire and Newcastle. Having turned 21 a couple months ago, I'm still in the beginning stages of my beer development, so this thread's giving me lots of ideas. :)

Guinness is my favorite.. I usually stick with traditional.. but I would LOVE to try some new flavors..

If you have never tried Sweet Water.. you should.. reminds me of blueberry pop tarts.. I know.. sounds nasty for a beer.. but ice cold, it is the best!

Duvel tops my list:

I guess living in Spangdahlem Germany for 3 years helped me acquire a taste for Euro Beers. I cant stand Bud, Coors or Miller.......tastes like really bad water.

Here are a few that I have come to really like:

I am looking for some Dragon's Lord Stout! But I can't find any...... I am really digging the dark beers and Ales.....

Give me a cold
Stout
Porter
Ale
Pale Ale.......

I don't like american beer ie coors, bud......

I am a huge fan of Fat Tire, Blue Moon, Sam Adams (so long as a fruit doesn't exist in the name), and only just recently Angry Angel. My long standing though has been Dos Equis Amber. There's nothing better. Come to think of it, I think I just may partake in a very large cold beer at my local mexican food restaurant tomorrow afternoon.

My nearest supermarket has just started selling Victoria Bitter which I hadn't had in ages and absolutely love.

Also a big thumbs up to Peroni Gran Riserva - a stronger and rarer version of Peroni which is excellent.

It's a toss-up:

It's not that I'm cheap either - I just think anything heavy or dark tastes like ass.

Vomit Bombs? You love a Vomit Bomb? Only good thing to do with a bottle of Vitamin B is to slam it down so that you forget the taste of the first.

It does get you drunk though, I've drunk many a jug of VB at various University functions/college events/random house parties/random Tuesday afternoons/study sessions/before breakfast on St Paddy's Day etc.

The best thing about a Vomit Bomb is that it's not a Toohey's New.

Never heard it called Vomit Bomb before, thats quite funny. Its the best Australian beer we can get here - better than Fosters and XXXX anyway.

What is a good Aussie Beer that might be available in the UK? We have a couple of good beer shops and an Aussie bar near here to look for them.

The Paulaner Salvator double bock is fantastic. Strong and plummy. Can't get enough of it.

Sam Adams Octoberfest is my favorite beer. I am really digging blue moon right now also.

I love the Octoberfest. I have a case of it right now. I'm not a big fan of Blue Moon, but they do have a winter brew called Full Moon that is really good.

Fat Tire is pretty decent.

I really like Fat Tire. Too bad I can't buy it here.

I tried La Fin Du Monde for the first time about a month ago. I'm not a huge fan of the style, but I have seen a lot of people rave about it, so I gave it a shot. I really liked it. Another beer I am denied because of our stupid laws. Would it be weird to move to another state because of stupid beer laws? :)

I haven't seen it posted yet, so I'll add Negra Modelo. Others include Bass Ale, Newcastle, Sam Adams, and of course Guinness.

Summer Ales

So it's been a while since i've visited this thread but I must say I'm honored at how many successful it has been.

So the summer is officially over as of a week ago ( And trust me, anyone in the iPhone forum will make sure you know that ), and I was wondering what Summer Ales will you be missing? I for one will be missing Honey Moon. I love Blue Moon, and Honey Moon is like the icing on the cake ... It's great!
