Just made it back home for the games, damn traffic, getting some popcorn and drinks and having both matches on, all alone!

Very strong play from Cameroon.

Not bad Swiss and Serbia.

So far very exciting games.

So interesting to hear some of the Pundits on a US station talking about the US winning the world cup. I guess if you in it you should play to win it, but they should probably concentrate on the winning the next match against the Dutch which is a big ask.

I'd be interested to hear who is saying this and in what way they are saying it. Anyone with any soccer knowledge knows that it would take a radical miracle.

No chance the US will win, I am not even thinking about it.

Whoever will think that the US will go through the next round is either delusional or hammered.

WOW, Cameroon just scored in the extra time!! too bad Aboubakar got a red card for taking his shirt off.

Best of luck to you and the other two lions until we meet again!
Thank you mate, same goes for the US, they have played strong this WC, but I don't think we (England) will win either, maybe to the semi-finals.

You'd be surprised to know that I'd like to see Japan or SKorea win the WC this year.

And England was favored heavily too.
Don't get me wrong, I hope we can win (cross fingers), but at the same time, I can't bet on it, we have had several close calls many times before.

But at the same time, we have seen many surprises this WC from the under-dogs teams, the likes of Japan/SKorea/Morocco/Senegal, I mean, it's hard to dismiss them, wouldn't you say?

I don't think they can win the World Cup either, but they certainly can win against the Netherlands.

Usually in the World Cup you get one or two surprise teams in the Quarterfinals, and maybe one in the Semifinals. We will see this year, I still think Brazil, France, Spain look very good when they are playing for real marbles.

The way the groups are organised it will be a Europe against South American final. England, Spain, France and Portugal are all in one grouping which means only one of them can be in the final. The other group has Brazil and Argentina as the favourites to come out into the final although Croatia could upset that plan.

Netherlands in charge so far. Memphis looking sharp, which makes the Oranje look far more dangerous.

Berhalter has to make some adjustments if they want to threaten the Dutch goal.

The Dutch is putting the US to sleep with their low energy and then hitting them on the break.

In order to avoid a permanent ban, I’ll refrain from commenting on the U.S. performance vs Netherlands.
Yes, I refrained from commenting as well for the same reasons...

What a shame for the US team... I mean... good luck next time?
