Just got through on apple and ordered. Clear your cache, it worked for me right after I did that.

mine just went through. it was only letting me do a reservation before, but gave it another chance and it let me order 🙂)
You're being taxed on the full unsubsidized price of the phone (In CA, MA, and RI).

Just banged on the site for the past 20 minutes. Typical timeout etc. stuff, then suddenly it just worked, and really quickly, as if few other people were on the system. Glad I got in before Apple sold out!

Yep, it worked. I finally got one ordered. I did reset Safari though (don't know if that was it or just a coincidence)
Well, I haven't received the confirmation email yet. But thanks for clarifying.
Had I known, I might have gone for the 16 GB. Oh well.
I just keep trying to get Apple to contact ATT servers one window at a time until I opened about 10 windows then keep checking each one to see if one went through. As soon as I had a connection to ATT I quickly closed all the others... it worked.

Finally got my two iPhones ordered (about five minutes ago). Yes, I had to order them separately. I haven't gotten the confirmation email yet, but you can go into your Apple account and view your orders. Both say they'll deliver by June 24th.
I also ordered two docks, saying they'll deliver July 3-7th. The orange bumper said it'll deliver July 3-7th, the green one said July 17-21st.

success finally!!! 12 hours later, iPhone's on the way!

Got through just now. Just waiting for my e-mail too but I at least printed out the confirmation page.

Same here. Cleared cache after trying literally all day long. I don't know if it helped, but it sure didn't hurt, because about 5 times after I cleared the cache, the order for delivery went through with Apple.com.
I ordered my wife's earlier this morning through AT&T with no problem, as she's got the upgrade price; me, I'm paying full price. Both 16gb will be delivered June 24.

How long did it take you to get your confirmation email? It's been 10 minutes and I haven't gotten it yet. Kinda nervous considering what kind of day it's been.
Why doesn't Apple let me choose a delivery option? Is it because we have 3 stores in the vicinity and 
is cutting postage costs? 😕

I did this too. I don't know if it was coincidence or not. I used Internet Explorer (at work) though.
Finally got through on appple.com. 12 bloody hours I wanted a white one, but if I can guarantee getting one I'll take black. And I got a screen capture just in case.

Completed pre-order process (home delivery) at 9:30am CST after trying since midnight.
