Any tips to get passed the second processing screen? I got past the ATT processing screen and hit continue now its stuck at another processing screen. And now it says it can't be processed!

Got mine in! Was very excited to see "Add to Cart" button! It specifically said it needed to be shipped to my AT&T billing address - which is something that was odd since I shipped my 3GS to my work place without a problem.
Guess I'll be taking a day off on the 24th to sign for it.

PTL! 10.5 hours later I got an order to finalize. I was getting nauseous thinking of having to go to the store on launch day. Seems like Apple's site is getting snappier so keep on trying if you are still timing out. I suspect you will eventually get a completed order.
Finally got mine! They took my money, too, so I'd better get my confirmation. What a pain in the arse - but better than dealing with huge lines at the Apple Store on launch day.
Finally got mine! I used Chrome on Windows. Had several browser tabs going all day. Finally just decided to clear the cache and cookies. After the 3rd time it worked. Don't know if that was a fix or just coincidence. But I am very happy I got mine. My gf isn't since no white is available.
I finally did too.
BTW - the browser you use makes no bit of difference (unless you are using a really old one). They all send data the same way.

Ok I have a question with the Apple preorder online.
I am the account holder. My fiance is on a family plan with me. Who's social and phone number gets put in? Mine for my phone, her's for her phone line, or mine for both ?

Success, finally placed my order!! Seems things are starting to work a bit better now.

So I'm going thru Apple.com - but I get to the page where there should probably be options on the left to have it shipped, but that side says it can't connect, and the right side wants me to schedule an in-store reservation, which I don't want to do because I don't to travel to the closest store 2+ hours away.

I finally got through. I was trying till about 3am. I got to the reserve part, and took that for now so that I could go to sleep. Tried awhile this morning. Tried a few times at the apple store, (which had every mac, macbook, iphone, and ipad in the store full of people bitching and trying to get through there, and i was getting farther at home then in there), and then i got on and tried maybe 3 times here on safari and I almost peed my pants when it actually went through AND actually allowed me to order for home delivery. Now when I get the email I will feel even better. how long did it take for your confirmation email to come? (this was apple.com by the way).
speaking to that ............... on three different computers using IE8 the Apple site is frustratingly slow. It really hangs up on the .png files for some reason.

I finally got my order through on Apple.com....though strangely, my data and text package shows on order status, but says no voice package was selected. I didn't change any of my voice/data/text packages. Weird. lol I assume that I can fix this during activation?

For those wondering, I was able to use multiple gift cards to pay.
Was a little bummed that they only ship to my AT&T billing address (my house). So, I won't be getting it while I'm at work. Bummer.

I've been trying all day, since 7:30am, and still cannot get my order places. I'm replacing my phone with a new one, so apple.com has to contact AT&T to authorize, and it bombs out every time and only gives in-store pickup options. Too bad I have to work Thursday and have to have it delivered. And I'm assuming from this that AT&T's activation servers on the 24th will go down like they did in 2007.
