Finally got my 7 digits

so i hit 13 million points today. 30 AUG. that was about 10 days from last million. i'm not sure i can get much less than that. i might could squeeze out 9 days. we'll see.

i gotta hit 14 million before whiterabbit hits 27 million. we'll see

yeah, but without the points, there would be a lot less people folding. and those that did, wouldn't look to buy the faster hardware whenever they upgraded for folding.

well i hit 14 million points today. 6 SEP. that was about 7 days, which is pretty much my limit with my current hardware. and i didn't beat whiterabbit.

congrats to whiterabbit for 27 million points!

I was thinking about what we could do to get on the front page and I haven't come up with anything. I suspect we won't for at least one reason; some of us aren't sticking to Macintosh computers. twoodcc and I in particular are making most of our points on non Apple hardware, though we both have Power Macs running folding@home. Unfortunately there is no gpu folding with Mac OS X and nVidia gpu's don't seem to be suported by Apple any longer 🙁

my views differ, this is a "macrumors" F@H project, not a "mac" F@H project - so i believe that anybody should be able to join and participate.

Agreed. A mention on the first page should help, our output is now pretty good.
