Yep, they sure do. I wonder why the OP doesn't get his MMS turned off? Guess he's lucky.

Im not lucky Im just doing it right and once I have it working I dont go messing with my setting. If it aint broke dont fix it. Once you get it working DO NOT go into cellular data setting. Also I to have VVM working flawleslly like PaulieORF said change APN for voicemail from wap.cingular to acds.voicemail

All those setting must be set before you put the sim back into your iphone. Also make sure you enter the 4 digit pin that you receive as a text to the media site then send an MMS with non iphone.

Only thing I have found it is do not reboot your iphone or you will loose MMS which there should be no need.

I have this working like clock work now I do it to every 3gs I get my hands on and it never stops working....

The camera button doesnt even show up in my text page. Everything is installed right. Theres no way to turn it on in the messages page either.

Edit nevermind had to restart my phone.

Well, if you haven't noticed, the ones that have tried this have already had it turned off. I'm sure it will happen to the rest, but we'll see.

Oh, and why did you have to have someone host this .ipcc file?

I've tried this same procedure before from somewhere else and it never worked.

It's not worth the trouble to try and make it work. Be patient. Sure, it sucks that at&t screwed us on this but, honestly, who needs MMS?

Hey OP, have you tried tethering, then disconnecting, then sending an MMS, and then try to tether agin?

That was the main problem with people that got tethering working on the 3G. When people would try to tether agin, the option would be gone...

"IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU FALL DOWN, WHAT MATTERS IS IF YOU GET BACK UP!"

Before I got this working flawlessly I failed to get MMS to work dozens of times and finally got it working to where it wont stop working and I dont loose my VVM. I just want to share with this forum on how to accomplish it since I have learned a lot from this forum. The people that can't get it to work its because they mess up a step or become impatient and dont do it right... I have done it on friends and families 3GS phone and it hasnt stopped working for them.

BTW I use the same MMS capable phone to swap the sim on all the iphones I do.

I seriously doubt this many people are "messing up a step"

Hey OP...did you try what I said in my post above to see if this REALLY works?
