Man this will be tough on which to give my S8+ back for.....Note 8 or iPhone 8.

They are soooo close to achieving the perfect design. Next step is just hiding what's left of the top bezel under the screen and making the camera flush again. And then maybe make it a bit thinner, with no physical buttons on the sides either.
Just imagine

Sooo... pricing will be 7S - 7S Plus like normal (so current gen prices) and the iPhone X Ultra Edition at say 150-200 more? Or in other words, I'll just keep my iPhone 7.

FPS embedded into the screen will be game changer. Can't wait to see Apple's marketing tactics once it's released.

The "cutout" will house the status bar, which has been pointed out many times. I'm not sure why there is a bunch of negativity surrounding this, as Apple will make it "blend" in quite nicely.

I can imagine that portion of the screen being off during video. Seeing as its OLED it will blend right in.

Which leads me to think that we won't be seeing a white iPhone 8.

It is in line with the regulatory markings on iPhones sold within the European Union.

That said, it is still too early to be seeing genuine part leaks with full iPhone branding. At this stage, the 'genuine' leaks should be absent any branding. This looks like a dummy based upon other rumours.

Yeah, I took this bit out of the post. We'd forgotten that the more prominent regulatory information is still used in some countries. Thanks for the heads up :)

I'm pretty sure these rounded corners are the reason they went back to signal strength bars. They fit nicely with the curve and take up less space horizontally.

lol people said that about the 5/5S when the 6 was released. And said that about the 4/4S when the 5 was released.

And I think they said that about the 3GS when the 4 was leaked due to the "ugly" antenna bands...

Plus they said that about the cMBP when the rMBP was released. And when the 2016 MBP was released, people then said the 2012 rMBP was the best design.

TL;DR: people hate change but they'll come around. :D

I like both the 5-design and the 6-design. And I like this design. So nyah.

Also, when's the last time you saw an iPhone with all the FCC and regulation crap on the back? I don't know how legit these parts are.

Fun fact...no one here knows the prices with the new iPhone 8. It's speculation. But enjoy your iPhone 7 while others upgrade.

Virtual home button in the UI? Android devices have been doing it for years.

No its the embedded fingerprint reader that is the real trick (& what Samsung flubbed, hence their terrible fingerprint reader on the S8 by the camera lens) and the expectation is that Apple is going to get that working.

Either the photo is distorted, or the Apple logo is suspiciously low. On previous phones, the distance from the sides and from the top was equal. Otherwise it looks legit.

Not true at all. The apple logo is very near to the top of the device on the 5/5S/SE. Nowhere near center.

Everyone complained about the bezels and how Apple was behind and iPhone looked so outdated. Now rumors suggest next to no bezels and people complain about the cutout for the camera.

Why do people like you assume it's always the same people complaining?

I hated the ugly bezels. You won't see me complaining about the camera cutout.

I hate it
iPhone 6/6s still the best design

What's wrong with the 7 design? waterproof all black options and one less moving part with the new home button?

That being said are people really going to buy a 7S for wireless charging and a slight bump in specs that are already really good?

Hope it doesn't have the side bezels but I understand trying to keep it uniform all the way around.
