It's a brand new account, for the purpose of trolling Apple fans.

Then again…. I always thought it a good idea that newly-registered site members should have at least a 3-day "observer only" period where they cannot post anything. But that's just me.

Not a bad idea. Or for some period of time (week or two), a couple reports from other users auto-disables their accounts, as opposed to waiting for a mod to get to it.

One common theme I'm picking up from all these reviews is the camera is top notch in both phones. That could sway some non iPhone users that aren't heavily invested in to the Android/Windows phone ecosystem.

i want to suck up and down, and then stick it deep into my hairy little butt hole and switch between my little pssy. I am so in love with the iPhone

Aaaah lemme go recheck the title of this thread! I mean it's late but I thought skinamaxx was on cable

anybody's order status on apple.com still say "preparing for shipment" with a 9/19 delivery date? Still haven't gotten a tracking number so gettin curious. Wanting to get a tracking # asap so i can arrange for UPS or FedEx to hold at location.

Well, my assumptions were correct. Battery life will be terrible.

Our TechRadar battery test did show something slightly worrying, and likely down to the increased pixel count: where the iPhone 5S lost 16% from a looped 90 minute Full HD video, the iPhone 6 lost 26%, with the iPhone 6 Plus dropping a similar 27%. Apple's extra pixel management clearly isn't as good as it could be, so anything with the screen on is going to be an issue.

$199 for an entry level phone, skipping the most popular 32GB model to force people to upgrade to 64GB for an insane markup - is there no end to the greed?

A8 chip is only 20% faster, as opposed to past when Apple usually had a 2x performance increase. Battery life on 6 is worse than 5S. No big improvements in software or UI.

It's still an iPhone, but after all the hype over the last year. how can you not be disappointment this is all we get. There was no thought put in the hardware or software design, it was just one goal - make a bigger phone. Apple's clean design was sacrificed (which is why everyone is criticizing the ugly lines and protruding camera), nothing done to shrink bezels, no software features except the gimmicky one hand mode.

That's for hours and hours of video playback.

Did you read the other reviews where they got 2 days of battery life on the iPhone 6 Plus with regular use???

90 minutes of HD video, not hours and hours.

The iPhone6+ is fine, it's the 6 I'm worried about.

I'm glad the 6+ is getting good but not great reviews. It's ridiculously big. I'd much rather Apple had kept the 4" (or maybe slightly bigger) and then a 5" device. Shame though that the bigger device gets a better screen and camera. :(

I wish that they would get rid of the home button. The 6 Plus is bigger than the competition with the same size screen and harder to use one handed than it could be. One of the reviews also stated that the rounded edges make it more slippery than the 5S which is more squared edges.

At least you have progress. I'm doing store pick up and my status just says "Processing. We'll email you when it's ready for pickup."

So, do I get an email Thursday? If not I assumed I'd be that store when it opens. I guess I wait until a Friday email?

I think the Apple logo with an index finger focus would be a good position for the touch ID sensor.

Hmmm, guess I'm going to be hunting down a case this weekend.

If you don't want a case get a skin. Your device looks naked, almost, but gets good protection. I've been using the ones from these guys: https://www.bestskinsever.com
and have been happy. Good support, too. My three year old iPhone 4s looks great.

They can be a pain to apply and do start to peel after 6-12 mo of daily use (I replace them at this point).

I've also used InvisibleShield, which was equally good and equally good support, but about twice as expensive.

Also: these skins are a little grippy, so will probably help with the slipperiness the reviewers are mentioning.

Hmmm 1 1/2 days for the 6. At least that's better than current battery life, would have loved 2 days but I don't need a huge phone. Got my iPad Air and nMac Pro6,1 D700 w/ dual 27" LED LCD's, don't need a phablet.

Awesome news on the battery life on both though! :)

I'm with you there. I have a cellular iPad Air. No need for the 6 plus. 4.7 inch on the go, iPad air around the house, rMBP for work.

Were all the Anandtech reviews always done by Anand himself?

Not all, there were a lot of writers that did reviews but he tended to do a lot of the Apple reviews and especially the SoC reviews. I believe he was also the one who would be at and review all the keynotes.
