Whoever pointed out earlier about the curved display edges reflecting light and making it hard to read was spot on. That’s gonna definitely need to be addressed cuz it’s gonna get super annoying.

Oh come on! This picture is clearly faked. First, the bezels look identical to a Series 6. Second, the phrase with "Series 7" would actually probably read "Apple Watch - This device - (Apple Watch Series 7)" At least, that's how it is currently formatted. I would bet, that these were just screenshots / edits, displayed on a normal Series 6.

Oh, and I see a third thing: On the rightmost photo, the background looks not black, but dark gray. You can see, where the display is. That's also not how it currently looks on a Series 6.

Edit: After a little poking around in photoshop, it looks like I was wrong, the display is indeed bigger on these photos, than on a Series 6.

"This Apple Watch Series 7" is exactly how it should be written, is it not it's certainly like that on iPhone.

I know there's always a lot of talk about "I already have Apple Watch __ so should I really get Apple Watch __ next? The upgrades don't seem worth it... bleh it looks incremental..."

But remember... new Apple Watches aren't only for existing Watch owners.

There are around 100 million Apple Watches out in the world. But there are over a billion iPhones.

So there's still plenty of people who don't have an Apple Watch at all.

Does anyone else think this would look suuuuper good in stainless steel?
They do look pretty good indeed

Want to see it in person, but disappointed they no longer have a "Silver" base model. Don't really want a yellow tinted silver or beige (Starlight). That combined with IMO a "meh" update has me leaning on just keeping with the 5 another year.

I was all in on the FLAT edged Series 7 we had been sold.

Then Apple replaced my 6 under warranty for a battery issue 11.5 months after I bought it.

Then Apple decided not to upgrade much.

I am all in on the FLAT edged Series 8 I want to be sold....

I was intrigued by the idea of flat edges, but didn’t need that to upgrade. The lack of processor and battery upgrades was the big reason for me to hold off another year.

Will be upgrading my Stainless Steel Silver Series 4, for a Series 7 Stanless Steel Silver. Most versatile colour and easiest to get scratches out of.

My series 4 is just starting to lose battery life where it's noticeable; This couldn't be timed better - pun intended :) I can't even remember a time I wasn't within 100 feet of my phone when I was also wearing the watch. What's a good use case for the cellular version, other than my phone running out of juice?

Am I the only one seeing pretty big edges on the display in this photo? Maybe its not actually a series 7.. I was pretty excited about the display pretty much almost wrapping over the edge based on what was shown.

underwhelmed for this yr but I’m glad I own a 40mm. Now being 45mm that’s to big personally for my wrist

It’s the same size as the 42, which is the same size of the 44. The bezels just keep getting smaller and the usable screen space keeps getting bigger.

That looks very chunky compared to the straps. I think it’s because the glass is much thicker. Not sure I like it tbh.

If the glass is thicker I do hope it’s more resistant to heavier impacts. Had a Series 2 and caught it on the wall in my work place (misjudged a gap 🤦🏻‍♂️) and when I contacted Apple Support it was effectively cheaper to get a new Series 3.
