I'll repeat this endlessly:

Dear Apple,

Please open your first Apple Store in Denmark (Copenhagen).
Why you're not here already simply baffles me. We're a high-income
Apple lovin' place.

The sleek aluminum styling of the current Apple line totally fits with classic Scandinavian minimalist styling.

An Apple Store on one of the walking streets in central Copenhagen would be great. The reason why such an obvious placement isn't happening is a long term, exclusive distribution agreement made in the 80s with the early Apple.

I think it is Tech Data but I'm not sure here. I was told the distribution agreement is schedule to expire in 2015. Then you will see an Apple store.

The Apple store where I live act as free day cares full of kids playing with the stuff. I'm fine with Apple.com and ATT.com for my needs.

This is the Apple takeover. The Chinese market place is expanding and our GDP and tax base is shrinking.

I was unfortunately unable to attend the opening. :(

I would have loved to get one of the Apple T-shirts that they were handing out.

Canada's newest store

Apple is opening a new store right on RIM's doorstep in Waterloo,Ontario.Waterloo is 75 minutes west of Toronto and happens to be the world headquarters of RIM.

Should open apple stores in ikea stores, they both look exactly the same :)

Certainly looks where they get all their store furnishings from.

Great news, for those living in those areas.
But I honestly think Apple should expand with stores in more countries instead of just opening additional stores in countries who already have several stores.

Its funny that I live in a town with at least 3 or 4 Apple retail stores in close proximity (I'm talking half an hour drive at most) however I only ever buy my products through their online store.

Source?

There is not a single Apple Store in Scandinavia - a region with 25 million inhabitants.

Copenhagen or (hopefully and) Stockholm would be obvious place for a beautiful store.
Magasin du Nord in CPH, right in a front of a metro station. Would be fantastic:

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_5 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8L1 Safari/6533.18.5)

the upside is I probably save hundreds (thousands!) a year being 125 miles from the nearest Apple Store...

That's some "wow-level" poor English.

I agree. English is not even my first language and it bothered me as hell.
Maybe some engrish?

I'm French (Canadian, not the stinky kind...) :D

Am I the only one that doesn't care about the retail stores? I do everything online anyways.

Too crowded for my taste, what I want is never in stock, because I order BTO computers. Plus I find these forums more helpful than probably self-declared young hipsters...

I just don't know how Apple is going to stop the onslaught of Microsoft stores taking over!

I don't think Microsoft would be allowed.

Apple probably have copywrited their stores like their tablets.

A rectangular shaped building with an entrance on the front where people can walk in to purchase items inside.

No one else it allowed to do this ;)
