Apple store

The sleek aluminum styling of the current Apple line totally fits with classic Scandinavian minimalist styling.

An Apple Store on one of the walking streets in central Copenhagen would be great. The reason why such an obvious placement isn't happening is a long term, exclusive distribution agreement made in the 80s with the early Apple.

I think it is Tech Data but I'm not sure here. I was told the distribution agreement is schedule to expire in 2015. Then you will see an Apple store.

Apple just opened a store to-day in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. This same city is the world headquarters of RIM. Having said that they will probably put one in Helsinki first, the headquarters of Nokia/Microsoft.
You have intimidate your competitors every now and again.

I'm in line at Apple Store Fashion Place. It's really nice being in an inside Apple line in Utah.

I've been an Apple fanboy for a few years now, but I didn't know until today just what that was. The Conestoga Apple store in Waterloo opened and it felt like a sporting event, or concert or something. People cheering, a countdown to the doors opening, a lineup, more than a thousand people with their iDevices out. I was speechless. :apple:

Now if they would just give us something to eat and drink like they did at the iPad 2 launch at the Gateway... Hahaha

And still we have no proper apple store in Denmark nor Hungary.

I would like one of these places or the whole to get a 'proper' Apple Store.. well one can dream.

Or Apple umbrellas like they did for the iPad 2 in Boston.

Sun works too. Haha. They are pretty cool looking...

Agreed. Coolest thing I've ever gotten for waiting in line for an Apple product launch was free coffee and donuts at an Apple Store in Dallas.

What else has Apple given away to people waiting in line, MR members?

That sounds great right now! Haha. I got a cool t shirt when they launched.... Tiger? Wasn't even there for the launch. I was at the store hours after opening and I guess they had found some extras in the back so I got a few! Haha

Yeah, I was close to the front of the line, and it was nuts... All I could think was that only Apple could get away with a store opening like that, all while having zero sales. Sure, they gave away t-shirts, but even a free t-shirt couldn't draw a crowd (and photographers) like that for any other store I can think of.

Well at Apple Store Fashion Place, they just let the media in. In about a half an hour, they'll invite the employees out to meet us. Everyone's very excited.
Is anyone at Fashion Place planning on buying stuff? Because I'm just here for the shirt.

Mostly I am just here for the shirt but I think I am going to get a hdmi adapter for my iPad. Plus that way I can say I was one of the first, if not the very first to buy something from that store! Hahah
