Awesome. I'm just missing one thing. Is it that the tracking info didn't update to show the 3pm flight and we're actually on that one(or its the time zone difference being shown), or this is another flight the just left?

Im not to sure, Im guessing time zone thing.

all i know if every time it departs its one place closer to my door
 
Mine's on that plane too!

by the way, I've never tracked a package with these kinds of GPS maps before, and certainly never tracked a plane en route. This is such awesome stuff it's so cool just for the sake of coolness let alone the fact that our ipods are on these flights
 
There was also another flight that left Anchorage for Memphis at 4:16PM FX28 so I guess they could be on that flight as well.

they should get to vancouver by wednesday or friday.

when i ordered my imac from apple once it got to memphis it was there for a day and then left that night and arrived in vancouver the next morning and i got it that day, so hopefully that is the same case with the ipod touches.:apple:

Ya, looking at everyone elses experiences so far, I'm guessing they'll get to me(in Vancouver as well)by Thursday. I'm so excited now.

Just wanted to say thanks too to everyone for answering any of my lame questions I've had over the past few days. Great forums and great people here on these forums. And I'll stop with the gushy parts now!

Hey..were all neighbors...isn't it nice being Canadian. Who is going to be the first person to rip a Hockey game and watch it on their iPod Touch? Maybe watch the game while having a coffee at Tim's? Or maybe while waiting in line to get a coffee at Tim's?

They need hockey back in winnipeg. They have Wi-Fi and Tim Hortons in the MTS Centre. It would be the perfect place haha.

Well I read the Preds deal may not go through after all...so maybe the RIM boys will finally get their way? but it'll probably be Black-berry only wifi lol.

Preds have no reason to stay in Nashville. That franchise was a train wreck waiting to happen from the beginning. But ya I read that too. To bad there was no news on Winnipeg actually getting a team.

so mine is in Toronto in but there is a clearance delay. poo poo. considering I'm in toronto. I mean I really don't wanna wait!
 
Update:
Both of the FedEx planes that left from Alaska this afternoon have now landed in Memphis.
The tracker shows that the iPods were scanned in and are at the Memphis facility as of 12:53AM there. Judging by other peoples past experiences they will be shipped out to their respective locations today(Oct.3rd). I'm hoping I get mine by Thursday. WOO!

I KNOW! From Memphis to Vancouver I'm hoping for a Thursday delivery as well. And I have a busy a55 day tomorrow so Thursday will come quickly!

oh man, i am so excited, i'm actually kinda glad that i am getting the touch probably on thurday or friday, cause i have had tests all week and this would be a nice way to end the week. also i think i will put some hockey games on the touch, GO CANUCKS!:D
 
they departed from memphis!

okay, this is kind of amazing, the ipods destined for vancouver left memphis early this morning from the memphis fedex location, that means we might get our ipods this wednesday! Atleast i hope so, would departed memphis fedex location imply they are on a plane headed for vancouver? I hope so!
 
Looks like apple upped the shipping on my order, because this package is SERIOUSLY on the move... since last night it landed in memphis stayed for only a bit and took off again and has already been scanned in Mississauga, I called to have it held at Derry Rd Depot as that means i can have it a day early.
 
People, fellow Canadians, I am proud to announce our ipods have landed in Canada.

It is really great to come here for answers, this is an amazing community.

Well, if it does, then chances are I won't be here to receive it - how good is fedex with pickup? Last 2 times with Purolator they returned my package to where the truck started from, like 15 or 20 km away, instead of one of the 2 locations in Etobicoke. Ie would be sweet if it showed up in the next hour as I'm wah until then... and its so close if its in Mississauga already, just a few clicks away.

As for the person that said "Go Habs", there's really no need for that kind of talk here! :D Leafs forever, because I love the pain...

thats a half hour drive away from me! my dad called fedex this morning to see if he could just drive over and pick it up but the lady told him it depends how fast the people clear costumes can do it.
 
My box still has wings... on package mapping.com anyway
It says it left Memphis but has not arrived anywhere. I'm assuming it will be headed to Ontario since that's the biggest customs hub? Please be kind Canada Customs!
