Oh wow... where from Canada are you from? I ordered mine on the 8th early morning and my status is still not prepared to ship....
I think I may be a little obsessed with my Touch. The "Order Status" page hasn't changed since the 6th. Hopefully the Touch will engross me enough when I finally receive it that I won't go into withdrawal from reading these forums and checking my order status every 5 mins. Order #starts W308. I would be happy if the status page just acknowledged my existense. Maybe it could say "Sorry, Not Yet Shipped" and then the next time it could say "Keep Checking, I'm sure it will be soon" and then maybe one day "Prepared For Shipping" and we can start all over again.
YES!!! My order status just changed to: "Prepared For Shipment."
My Touch has an engraving so I guess that does not delay shipments.

WTH!!! it seems they're shipping the touches NOT in sequence of you ordering it!!!!!!
I ordered mine Sept 5th @ 12:32pm PDT!!! not engraved either! and still nothing! Maybe they got annoyed I called them
I ordered mine on September 5th too and it still says Not Yet Shipped! This is really not fair since people who ordered later are getting theirs prepared for shipment.
I called Apple after reading people who ordered theirs after the 5th were getting the prepared for shipment status. Anyway, they told me despite what it says under my status (not yet shipped) that my touch was prepared for shipping and would either be shipping later today or tomorrow at the latest. So those of you who ordered on the 5th (like me) and still have no status might want to give Apple a call to see if this is the case for you! I'm not sure if I trust what they said 100% but it does seem hopeful!

If it makes you gents feel any better, my iPod was just marked, "Prepared for Shipment". I ordered on Sep 5, 2007 at 07:09 PM PDT, and live in Belleville, Ontario.
