Any respectable company like netflix would have a lot better screenshots than that. This is totally fake.

Now, what about the eventual Hulu app? A lot of sites are reporting that it will be paid, but if Netflix is offering iPad streaming essentially free (for those of use who are already Netflix members and have been for quite some time), how can Hulu charge? More likely is an ad-supported free version with an option to remove the ads for a fee.

Fail. You can already get Netflix for Windows on a netbook. Why would I want to watch it on a device that has half the functionality?

:D why would you want make such a ridiculous comment?

Half the functionality, LOL, that's rich.

Fake. One of the screenshots says 'play on computer' on one of the buttons on the right. It's just a screen capture of the website, displayed in an app mockup.

Wonder how long it will take for Netflix to comment on this....I'm hoping, but my belief is wearing thin...

As much as I would love to make this my first app to grab and take for a spin, I have to call April Fools! Oh how cruel.

Hulu who ? Flash who ? netflix app will kill both in one swipe. Love the netflix app on my xbox 360, movies are limited, but netflix keeps adding new titles. Someone even mentioned that you can start watching on the iPad, and resume on PC or Xobx 360 where you left off. I think I'm going to be watching lots of movies after Saturday. With all this big companies jumping on the iPad, don't know what I'll do with my PC and xbox, everything I need is on the iPad. I think in about 2 or 3 years, there won't be any company writing apps/programs for anything other than the iPad. So, i guess we should start shorting Adobe and MS stock.

I don't think Apple is happy with this news, but they can't do anything about it, else they would look really bad.

A little bit of constructive criticism. Please some of you stop saying that this is the death of non Apple related products just because a company decided to let the iPad do something that's expected of all other devices.

ZOMG! its the iHuluPad !

My reaction is very similar to the crazy guy in the Office Max commercial... "WOW! Now that's badass!" Since it's free, clearly it's a low price too :p

Now that we have Netflix, ABC has created an app, I can visit CBS and NBC and stream directly from their site... yes flash is becoming more and more a non issue. The review last nite on Twit showed the iPad loading up NYT page where the flash used to be, they simply have an alternative graphic in where flash was.

Never doubted content providers will change and find a delivery method that allows iPad users to view their content. They need us to visit their sites just as much as the user wants to see it. They clearly don't care "how" the content gets to us, they work to fill our needs, flash is no longer a need. Things are looking very, very good for the iPad's launch! Can't wait to see what the next 6 months bring.

Absolutely. This is only the beginning. HP has yet to release their Slate, and MS is already developing the Courier. Besides, most netbooks will do what the iPad already does, plus offer even more functionality. Like a camera, for instance, and a real keyboard.

Great news. I wonder if it will come to the iPhone too. Now if only Apple would work with them to bring this to Apple TV.
