Dude don't trip, cuz the one's that are complaining and hating KNOW this was a not only a great keynote but quite an amazingly great array of features and symmetry between the Mac and iOS...plus the addition to support more 3rd party applications. Anybody denying this was a great keynote is just flaming the forum. Ignore them.

But I'm a girl not a dude! :D HAHA.
I was part of the complainer! :D

Good stuff, but no hardware....people like hardware.

This is a huge down payment on future projects and plans...they'll just have to weather the 'apple didn't produce anything today' articles and media.

Really wanted my retina 11-12 inch machine.

New OS X looks like it almost has to be a retina display to enjoy it fully.

Nope android users only troll apple forums, never seen it the other way around. I'd like to be proven wrong though.

Funny thing is the mods allow it. Maybe the android forum mods are just more liberal with the ban hammer.

I can deal with them floating around the regular threads, but during a keynote they're a serious pain to have to scroll past when you want to honestly hear what people who, you know, intend to USE the software/hardware being described are thinking about the announcements.

I cannot imagine spending 2 hours watching a keynote from Samsung or any other Android manufacturer, even if they had one to watch (do they? I have no clue) because I'm just not interested in what they're selling.

Well, looks like I won't be upgrading my MBP for another 5 months. LOL :D
Was really looking forward to seeing the hardware upgrade. Since this was only the software upgrade, must be a new thing Apple is doing now?

So we are heading with some BIG new products for September and August.

iphone at least 2 models, macmini/appletv/imac/macbook pro/macbook air 12"/new ipad air and ipad mini and the new product category

Why would you expect hardware at a developers conference?

I'm absolutely baffled why people have been expecting hardware

because there ALWAYS were hardware announcements at wwdc. but there's always the first time, right? hehe

Yeah. I'm a little puzzled myself. I mean, I love it when they throw something in, but it's not an expectation. I go into these figuring it's about the software all the way.
