For me, same. That neo-hybrid looked slick. However, since this phone has such a beautiful screen, I'm a little concerned that I need a case that covers it. So, I will skip the hybrid and get a wallet -type.

On smartphones, starting with the original iPhone, I haven't used a screen protector. They just seem like they would hamper the touch screen. Add to that a pen enabled screen and it seems like it would be even worse?

I had a Samsung flip case with my Note II and didn't enjoy using it. Felt it got in the way. I tried using a regular screen protector and didnt like the feel using the S Pen so I used the screen naked without any problems. I hear really good things about the glass screen protectors though. Might get one of those but don't know if I'll bother.

Which colour bounce ? I have both the grey & black but actually don't like the black one as much. I find the grey looks better.

That being said I can't use either with the official Samsung wireless charging back.

I went with the black. I like all my phones blacked out. Your pictures of the grey one did look really nice though. Any cases available that's compatible with the wireless back cover?

My Note 3 is great, but it's very difficult to remove my sim card. In fact, the only way I know how is to use scotch tape to pull it out. Anyone else? I could possibly file down the sim?

I can't pull the sim out of mine no matter how hard I try. I tried using tweezers but all that did was dent the sim card so I just left it alone for now.

Just to say, the tape trick does work and pretty well.

For removing the sim,

Just keep massage flicking downwards on the sim. It will eventually move out just enough for you to pinch it and remove.

Best not to use force or implements to aid removal (other than scotch tape) as you may damage the sim card reader.

Um, you use your finger by applying pressure (downwards) and then sliding out (friction from your finger should provide enough force).

I tried. Tape was the only way (and not harmful). But, I agree with MacRumorUser, don't force it.

Anyone else amazed at how quickly the note 3 charges?

Must be the USB3 but it seems you can go from dead to full in about 90 minutes!

It pulls lots of current from chargers. It charges just as fast from my USB 2 cables and non-Samsung power brick.

That's the 2A charger, it only charges faster over USB if you've got it plugged into your computer into a USB 3 port. Then it charges at 900mA instead of 500mA in USB 2. Still half as slow as charging via the wall.

i'm only able to charge at 1.2A using either the stock charger/usb3 cable, or other samsung charger/micro usb 2.0 cable...can anyone else confirm? My note 2 charged at 1.8A...

So have any of you guys gone from the Note 2 to the Note 3? I had the note 2, and liked a lot of things about it. The screen on the note 2 was one of the things I did not like about it. I ask to see how much of a difference the two had. Is it head and shoulders above the Note 2?

From the reviews I've read, they said if you're happy with your note 2, keep it. That the note 3 is for people who want the latest and greatest. The screen is more vivid, higher resolution and is supposedly the brightest screen of any phone for the time being.

Oh ok. Well I moved on from my note 2, but thanks for the info.

Only reason I upgraded was because AT&T allowed me to upgrade early. Otherwise, I would've been completely happy and satisfied with my Note 2.

A couple things I like about the Note 3 is the 1080p screen (haven't noticed the increase in screen size from 5.5 to 5.7"). Speaker on the bottom instead of the back. Being able to use the S-Pen on the capacitive buttons. Ability to customize the notification toggles. IR blaster (I was about to disable the WatchON app but found it being really useful as a tv remote).

The one thing I hate is the removal of bookmark syncing, full screen, and quick controls from the stock browser.

Just curious, where was everyones Note 3 made? My black AT&T model was made in Korea but I've also seen others say theirs were made in China and Vietnam.

I had the Note 2 and bought a 3. The screen is a lot better but the speed of the 3 is the real advantage over the 2. Out of the box there's no lag with the Note 3. I was always shocked at how much the Note 2 lagged.

How do I find out? My battery says "Cell made in Korea, assembled in Vietnam" that's all the writing I can find.

Bought a Note 3 over a week ago, and now can officially say I will be keeping this device and most likely will stick with this series instead of phones like the Galaxy S line. Had the GS4 before this. Multi-window is so awesome on a device like this. It's easily one of the most underrated features on the Galaxy S and Note phones. The Note 1 & 2 never got my interest, but this thing just feels right. Quick notes have never felt so natural. And love action memo. My wife has actually decided she will get one. She's giving up her iP5, and trust me, that's big news, as she's never owned an Android device. Now if Spigen can only ship my bounce case I can relax while carrying my Note around. Been over a week, and no update on shipping. My cheap screen protectors haven't even come in. I'm still using the screen protector that came with the phone with the big Galaxy Note 3 written across it. Lol.

I've yet to find a use for multi window that I consider game changing. Can you give me some examples?

Cool, absolutely. Helpful even. But not game changing or paradigm busting.
