I tried both with stock Samsung "my files" and the third party app "File Manager". The only thing they let you create is folders so I went ahead anyway and created ".nomedia" but it doesn't work. Can you just tell me step by step so we don't beat around the bush for long? :) thanks

Download free es file explorer (imo the best file manager).

Or goto some of the existing folders to find one as many apps create this file to hide images used in the their apps.

I luv my new Note 3 for the office ..but still use my IPad for Home.. just wish Apple would build something like the Note 3..or a larger IPhone..

Great battery life. I found that having the phone on 4G is better on standby compared to wifi.

- Settings: Brightness: Auto(+3), sync/data-on, bt/wifi/gps-off.

Got an OTA update last night, just said "Performance increase" in the log though.

Otter Box.. if you want to save it from damage..I just sold my IPhone that had been in its Otter case since new, and the condition was MINT..and the customer was well pleased.

Only problem with the otterbox defender range is on a big phone you are adding a heck of a lot of extra bulk and weight.

Am I the only one carrying my Note 3 naked? I love how thin it is and its light for a phone so large. I just returned the Droid Maxx that only had a 5 inch screen but weighed right about the same, felt like a brick in comparison. Speaking of bricks, thats what I would imagine an Otterbox on the Note 3 to feel like. Does that even fit in a pocket?

Got the Spigen Bounce case. But I must say, I'm finding myself going naked more and more because of how much nicer the phone feels naked.

Nope. Same here. And no case needed. Unlike iPhone 5S this one doesn't scratch at all. iPhones scratch and chip away on the metal casing, hard edges so fast it's unreal. The Note 3 not at all. I love that the back is this faux leather plastic that can be removed/ replaced. And it's great soft ergonomic and because of the texture it doesn't scratch.
