thinking about buying this to replace my iphone 5

question is, how do you listen to music that is not streamed. i have some playlists in itunes and would like an easy way to listen to music without copying individual songs

I used back up pro app to transfer music but you can use isync too which works well.

got it last night but i miscalculated the new plan costs and will probably give it back

nice phone, love it. better than iphone 5 in some ways, the bigger size makes it worse than iphone in others but i'm happy with it. too bad i'll probably have to give it back

Thats a shame, aren't there other ways to get it on a different deal?

i'm 9 months away from an upgrade
worst case i return it and go to t-mobile next year once all my contracts expire and pay less $$$. and buy a Note 4 from t-mo or just buy another ipad or cheapo android tablet

What's the best way to purchase a Note 3 without renewing your contract? I am currently with AT&T and wanting to pick one up badly. Had a Note 2, and now Iphone 5. Want to go back. Also best and cheapest prices?

pay full price at AT&T, get the international version which won't have LTE, or go NEXT which is technically not renewing your contract and is $0 down

why not go to t-mobile then? their prices are a lot less than AT&T if you're not on contract and pay full price?

also check the refurbs at AT&T for discounts

I just picked one up on Swappa.com, very nice and painless experience. They are hovering at just a bit under $500 currently, that's out the door as no taxes and the seller pays shipping. A new one is what like $724 plus state tax, so I figured I saved almost $300. Mine was a mint one with box, accessories and receipts. I see a lot of them though with minor nicks on the chrome surround and maybe they don't have the box go for $460 ish.

T-Mobile is terrible in Abilene, TX. I won't touch them at all here. No LTE support either. Thanks for the tips.

Will check it out. Thanks

that's why they are so cheap. they are good in NYC and just want to cover a few metro areas.

they have LTE now but even then their HSPA is just as fast. and in reality there is little use for LTE unless you stream netflix all day

Let me put it this way. Our movers allied were unable to call us before they drove up to our house because his cell T-Mobile had no or little signal. Its really bad here. Even at&t is not great.

I've had my GN3 for a few weeks now and I love it. I should have bought one earlier. It is just fantastic. Zero lag, even with all the TW crap.

Same here. I'll only got some cheap devices to fool with since. I may go for the new iPhone when it is released later this year. Other than that, I'm pretty much set.

I'm intrigued by the Note 3 and I want one. But, I despise Samsung and the way they do business so much I won't buy a Samsung branded product.

They just got through knocking off the Dyson Vacuum dude, they do it in every market they enter, TV's, appliances, etc., such a ******* way to do business ...

It bothers me so no Samsung for me, they do make the best pocketable phablet, sure wish Apple offered more screen sizes.

I have seen fake Note 3 that works and looks like the Note 3 but made by manufacturer other than Samsung.

I'd like to get a note 3, but I don't want to pay full retail price, but I'm wary of using third party sellers. If the phone is faulty or is stolen you are stuck.

Swappa checks all IMEI numbers and requires most sellers to accept returns.

There's always the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Or the upcoming LG G Pro 2.

If Apple makes a Phablet as rumored, I'd consider switching from the Note series. However the S Pen makes the Note series one of my favorite features.

Putting in my two cents. Just got mine after my GN2 suffered the faulty sim tray of death and was out of warranty by 6 months.
Very fine phone. The biggest differences I see between the GN2 and 3 are the screen resolution, and the way if feels in hand. Other than that, very similar phones in all areas.
I have been using Android for a while now, on Nexus and Samsung devices, and I am still having trouble seeing the difference between vanilla Android and Touchwiz. My issue has more to do with ATT bloatware which I just don't use.

Added issue, the GN3 has this Lookout Security app on it which I am very on the fence about. More ATT bloat, annoying, but is the security worth it? It has about 3 days to prove itself.

I also picked up a new Note 3, 32gb Black on Swappa for $540. I think thats fair for a new, sealed, never used one with all accessories?

Will probably upgrade the one 4S, we have left to the 5 I have now, and sell the 4S on Swappa. Can't wait!
