Ok, will see when i get the new usb cable, its taking a while getting used to it, first android phone ever. Getting there though
Not sure yet if i would like carrying it around all day though.
You know how in safari you can open a website then you could save it to your home screen like a app, is there a way to do that in crome or google?

Here too. My Note 3 charges faster than I can believe. Never timed it from zero, but it's in the area of 2hrs is my guess. 1/2 way through the day I can charge it for an hour and it will hit 100%.
Yeah it takes less than 2 hours to go from zero to full. It is impressive.
I remember when I got the S4 I was impressed by how quickly it charged. Then I got the 5s and although it was quick I wasn't that impressed.
Now having the note I'm impressed again.
Qi Wireless charging however takes significantly longer
More than double for a full charge.
I was looking at those last night, might just get a desk dock.

wow thats alot...whats your battery usage saying? Mine drops about 8-9% each night. You shouldn't be losing more than 10-15.
A new usb cable fixed the charging problem, i downloaded android transfer and says cannot connect to device try re connecting or re starting device, which i have done but nothing. Any ideas? iTunes is looking good
edit, kies not uninstalled was the problem and re boot of my mac worked. How do you get photos from iPhoto?

Mmm. Did you remove Kies ? The two together don't like each other and can interrupt connection.
Yes, i have it working now kies was the problem, transferred movie and book no problem, and figured out how to get photos from it into iPhoto. How do i get photos from iPhoto onto it?
Using android file transfer, just drag and drop files from iPhoto directly into a folder in android file transfer

Photo is installed after you update google+
Deleting in album view. simply hold down on an image until it becomes selected and then press the delete bin

Not a bother - once you have gotten used to it, fundamentally all android handsets will then work the same

Sorry to tell you but I just sold it on eBay for $600, not that I didn't like it but decided it was overkill for what I was originally looking for which was a after hours/weekend phone.
I wasn't going to use all the features or the s-pen, it was good for around the house but not real good for me for in and out of car and pockets. I need something smaller. Going to get a brand new moto g tomorrow for $200.
Now I have spent 3 days with the note I am sure I will be ok with it.
Might see you in the moto g thread lol, my wife thinks I am mad and my 11 year old daughter ain't really happy

Hey, the Moto G ain't bad, i am using 2 sims so only need the one phone now, easy to switch between the 2. Easier to set up than the note 3 was. Going to run with it for a while and might sell the 5s, and if all is good might look at the moto x when it hits Australia next month. I am wondering why i spent so much on a iPhone when you can get this phone for $900 less.
The 5s camera is the only thing thats probably much better. Screen wise its hard to tell, the 5s maybe a smidgen faster. It definatelly has better call quality/reception than the 5s and way better than the note 3. I have gone from a 64gb phone to 8 and have everything i need on it. See how it goes anyway.
Your help with the note 3 made this one easier. Thanks.
