If you can get that deal through O2 you also get a free pair of Buds Pro 4 after 2 weeks 🙂

It's not a bad deal with all the discount especially through the Blue Light card. I'm waiting until Apple announce theirs but Samsung have far better deals that's for sure.

I have tried using the Blue Light Card code that gets you 15% off, and it says code invalid. Is it because the Fold 8 is already discounted? Does it have to be full price or something. How did you do it?

I used these codes that are currently active

Those of you with the Fold8, are you going to still buy the 18 Pro/Pro Max?
I am tempted to buy both, but I think that will be a massive overkill. I want to try something new by getting the Samsung, but I still need an iPhone due to family/work etc...

Ignore 🙂
Did you buy yours outright or on contract?
O2 wont let you buy it outright, minimum 3x1 month payments (interest free) plus your plan. I already have a plan so it was no change for me 🙂

I only got one on O2 as they had stock so got it within 2 days of release as Samsung had bumped my other F8 by 2 weeks and I only got that a few days back.

Yes there is, just log into your account and go to Samsung, there are stackable codes as well. At least here in the UK.
They stack when you order but are subject to review prior to acceptance and dispatch.

I fell foul of this as I had 3 codes stacked plus my trade in and order was acknowledged and card was charged but they cancelled my order without notification:-

"Good Day! I hope you're well.

This is Jianne from the Samsung Online Shop Resolutions Team. Your case has been formally escalated to our department under reference number #xxxxxxxxxx.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We understand you want to make the most of the offers available on our website, and we recognize the need to clarify the reason for the cancellation on your orders.

To clarify what happened with your recent transactions, our system shows that your order (UKxxxxxxxxx) was unfortunately cancelled automatically by our system because it did not pass our standard verification and validation checks.

At Samsung, we take security extremely seriously to protect both our operations and our valued customers. Unfortunately, this order did not pass our mandatory security validation process and was flagged as a security risk.

Please note that the Order Confirmation you received is an acknowledgment of receipt only and does not indicate acceptance of your order. In accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale, all orders are subject to our acceptance, which is only confirmed once a Dispatch Confirmation email is issued.

Our contractual obligations apply solely to products verified in that dispatch email. Consequently, we are unable to honour promotional offers or supply items from orders that do not successfully clear this initial stage.

You may also refer to our Samsung UK | Terms and Conditions of Sale on our website. For your privacy and security, we are unable to disclose the specific reason for the cancellation. This approach aligns directly with our data protection policy, which ensures the ongoing security of our systems and customer information.

Our standard recommendation to resolve this is to attempt the purchase again using the active promotional offers currently available on our website. However, Please note that all orders will still undergo validation, and any new transaction remains subject to internal and external policy checks."

Ohh I didn’t know about that. Did you not get your order in the end? What about the codes did they not honour them?

Though I enjoyed the clear case, it just feels so much better going back to my carbon fiber, I have a couple of OhSnap coming today so I will see how those look for my phone.

Did you enjoy using that case? I bought the Ringke Onyx Flap but had to return it because the front lip was so thick it messed with the back, home, and multitasking gestures 😿. I ended up switching to the Thinborne case. It’s not my ideal choice since it lacks hinge protection, but a case ruining swipe gestures is an absolute deal-breaker for me 🫠

Bit of a long story 🙂

I ordered my 1st F8 just after the unpacked event, delivery for the 3rd Aug and got £200 off plus F7 trade in so just over £700 to pay

The order did not progress so I called and they just said don't worry it will get processed, however the delivery date did shift to 15th Aug (They sent an email apologizing for delay), so I was PO and would be on holiday.

So I ordered one from O2 delivered next day on the 5th of Aug, whilst my Samsung one was being processed.

I was just going to change the date of delivery to suit my holiday but found out there was another voucher code plus I could also trade in another device (watch), giving a further £100 off so only £600 approx to pay. as I had my O2 F8 I did not care about delivery date now if it was after my hols, so I cancelled my 1st order and re-ordered.

I came back from hols and was expecting my delivery the next day from Samsung, when I checked to why it was not delivered I found out it was cancelled by Samsung with no email advising it was.

By then the original stack of vouchers were no longer valid and they had moved on to the single £150 off you see now, when I re-ordered.

I am not saying you wont get your 3 stacked vouchers, but I feel they have a threshold and if your deal is too good they can bounce it

BTW The best trade-in deal is supposed to be the S24 given its a 2 year old device 🙂

I didn't know they could do that, to be fair every time I've used a code it has worked.

Yea I have seen they are currently offering me £418 for my 512GB S24 Ultra, not bad considering it is a couple years old now. I'm going to wait an see what Apple do with their foldable. I know the iPhone Ultra will be expensive, I just hope they do more, surely they haven't waited this long for no reason. With the new Apple CEO hopefully they will pull something out of the bag innovation wise. If not I may just trade in my S24 Ultra with Samsung and buy the Fold 8 for cheaper.

Just get the iPhone Fold & save yourself the money.

What does the Samsung Fold 8 offer that the iPhone Fold doesn’t (supposedly)? Is it going to be that much different to be worth having two phones (one of which should be replacing a slab phone) & splitting between two ecosystems, when you already are settled in one?

It wasn’t bad with my swipe gestures only a few times a little annoyance , i definitely prefer the thin front of the Thinborne case and this will be my go to case.

But do you want android or ios? If the former then it doesn't really matter what the ifold or whatever its called does!

I do favour iOS but I also use Android with my second device. Overall tho I'm in the Apple ecosystem, I have an iPad Pro, MacBook Air, Apple Watch, HomePod, Apple TV and Apple One (mainly for Apple Music and TV+).

Sounds like you don't need the fold 8, itd be an incredibly expensive second device! It's just a short wait for the Apple event next week.

Yea I’m waiting to see what Apple announce with their fold. I will be upgrading my 15 Pro Max either way, it will either be with Apple’s fold or the 18 Pro Max.
