I’ll take a Pro with aluminum please
That would be the dream. That or titanium

This is gold as in iPhone Sherwin-Williams Edition, not gold as in Apple Watch Edition, correct? So why would there be a different process?
Can’t polish it like the raw stainless. It still has a coating. Unless you want it to look like complete garbage wearing off in spots

It's quite astonishing, really. We now live in an age were we have a supercomputer in our pocket and worry about the amount of fingerprints on part of its case.
So it's different than the iPhone X's stainless steel band? Can’t polish it like the raw stainless. It still has a coating. Unless you want it to look like complete garbage wearing off in spots

I keep seeing people say this but has it been confirmed that the silver is raw this year? When it was introduced it sounded like *all* the finishes have PVD coating + magnetron whatever on the gold. Can’t polish it like the raw stainless. It still has a coating. Gold is a girly thing.
This is only a “problem” for people who go caseless. Non-issue for the vast majority who use a case.
I would mention gold is great, I love the gold edges but the back is basically cream, not sure why they didn’t choose a different darker tone.
And it is actually gold, not the rose gold crap Apple has been known for.I'm more excited to get the Gold Pro Max now, have never gone for that colour before on any of the earlier iPhones but this time it just looked so damn good. 😍
