There’s seriously no gold reviews or pics other than what Apple provided? It def doesn’t look like the pics they showed they are heavily edited

So, is the same coating not applied to Pacific Blue???
No, as the article states Apple uses "high-power, impulse magnetron sputtering" for gold which is more durable, and wipes clean easier than physical vapor deposition used on the other Pro finishes.

Very glad that I went with gold this time 👍

So there is phone that's "more Pro" than the other Pro's in the lineup just because of a color? Disappointing

Keep in mind that the Pro Max is more "pro" than the Pro, due to camera differences. So I guess that makes the Gold Pro Max the Pro to rule them all!

Was going to order the pro max in Pacific Blue. Seeing that the gold shows less prints I might switch to that. I rarely use a case. Also never had a gold phone. Might check out the Pro next week at the Apple store.

I love how all the people who didn’t order the 12 pro gold like me are trying to make excuses that it doesn’t matter. Face it. You messed up and didn’t get the one with the superior coating process. You’re paying the same as me, but for less. Let that sink in. Enjoy your more fingerprinty-scratchy-inferior coated stainless steel phones!

EDIT: Muhahahahahahahaha

Space Black Watch (DLC) and Gold iPhone 12 Pro = Most scratch resistant combo....and also look great together.

Im just surprised that if the finish is different on the gold pro vs the other finishes that Apple wouldn’t have mentioned in the specs?

An entire thread of complaints from people who have probably already purchased the phone, or will soon.
