No, you will never find out what circle(s) your friends have put you in (unless they tell you). You can only see that you are in a circle, never which circle you're in. When you go to someone's profile page it says if you have that person in a circle. If that person also has you in one or several of their circles it just tells you: "You are in John's circles too". You're overthinking this imo.

yep that is what happen to me. I have 2 invite in my inbox and I can not sign up saying oh it maxed out blah blah blah.
It seems like Google and flub this one up.
yea i got an invite, but once u click sign up after getting it, it says there is no more room and to come back soon. that just means come back when its all finished
The best thing is to keep trying throughout the day. There have been people who have had it work, when it hadn't earlier. Its annoying me a bit now though, i want to get it set up because im moving my photos to Picasas online web storage and you get more free storage if you have a Google+ account

are u sure there letting people in slowly like that, because i have tied like 5 times in the last 2 days, not much but i hope there is a chance.
because i got an e-mail from friend saying: so and so has invited you to google+, in the email it says he shared something with me so i click to view it and it asks me to join. then click "join" and i get the page that says that there full. so just like that i keep trying (im not doing anything wrong? lol).
I actually think they have done a good job with circles

I can arrange my contacts in multiple circles and manage access and visibility easily

There were back door ways of making it happen, but most have been closed down now... but I am sure they will open more access soon. I like what I have seen so far. A lot.
The difference is... you could use Gmail with others without them being on Gmail
Google+ is useless if you have no friends to test it with

I got someone in today. I think he was very persistent. I invited 11 others and so far they are no shows.
So far I'm much happier with it than facebook; it just makes more sense.
There is still a whole lot of chatter going on amongst the testers and developers and things are getting changed frequently. I can see why they don't want to overwhelm themselves with a lot of traffic at this point.

I was able to get in with an invite, but could only update my profile. Photos and circles were dead links for me. Hopefully, Google+ becomes fully live soon.
I like it thus far and what limited actions i can do with it.
Well, it seems Google+ is not very ipad friendly. Once i got on my MBP, i could do everything.

Should work now? As far as i know with the invites, signing up is still on hold, i've had one since saturday and still cant use it

I find that the 'better facebook' extension for Safari/Firefox/Chrome makes the site a lot less annoying
