Yup, also that was a great album!Aren’t they getting rid of the headphone jack as well?
Well, maybe it has a tendency towards making fun of the "Apple sheep". The Ive videos were never really good, yet most of the target group were going "ooh", "aaahhh", "woooahhh" whenever they saw one. It would not surprise me if some "reaction videos" to it show up on Youtube very soon, but the typical Apple cultist is replaced with a Google cultist.I get what they're trying to do, and it's OK to make fun, but what they have here is not really that funny.
I'm not sure if everyone ahhhed. I think many enjoyed how silly they were. I don't remember which late night show spoofed him, but it was the funniest thing I'd seen in ages. I enjoyed the spoof more than his talks.Well, maybe it has a tendency towards making fun of the "Apple sheep". out of place and somewhat contradictory, but ok. I always wonder how such weird things get a green
What cringe? No way ... what's cringe is so many ppl believe his accent, Ive's, is that think. What’s the British pronunciation for ‘cringe’?
I remember when Apple had a sense of humor.Late, out of place and somewhat contradictory, but ok. I always wonder how such weird things get a green light.
The real joke is that none of Apple's BT headphones support lossless Apple Music, so yeah wired headphones in 2021 are better for audio quality. That would have been funny a couple/few years ago, but someone should inform Google it’s 2021. A headphone jack? On their latest phone? Surely, that must be the real joke.
If you want lossless Apple Music with headphones, you need a wired connection.A headphone jack in a phone? Like, an analog jack? You'd think this was 2012, not 2021!
I think if you look above your head, something is sailing over it.Good god this is cringeeeeey. Is google really this un self-aware?
G'day. Nice to meet you. I'm the guy from Australia who uses wired headphones with his smart phone.Feels super late and not very relevant. I don't know anyone who uses wired headphones on a smart phone.
Works for me. Never any reason to remove it in the first place when it came to iPhone.I’ve found the ad funny. Apple itself likes to pretend to revolutionize basic and not new features, so it’s funny to see Google play the same game.
that said, the ad can be seen as a way to say: "our principal argument for you to buy this smartphone is the headphone jack", which is not great in 2021
That was my thought. What year is this? Also, this is what overpaying a bad marketing agency looks like.lol

I think they get Apple better then you do.Good god this is cringeeeeey. Is google really this un self-aware?
Google translate the above....I'll buy anything from Apple that is new and shiny. PThat was my thought. What year is this? Also, this is what overpaying a bad marketing agency looks like.
It was obvious. Apple announced the first AirPods along with the iPhone 7, the first iPhone without the headphone jack.Apple has kind of become a parody onto itself.
Glad to see the 3.5mm still around.
I would bet the main reason Apple got rid of it was due to having the AirPods early in the pipeline, and it would have been too obvious if they ditched the 3.5mm jack the same year.
Create a problem and sell the solution.
The joke here is Google already removed the headphone jack from Pixel 2 onwards. Only the Pixel a line has it. The main flagship Pixels don’t.I love it. Only problem is, it makes it even less likely that the stubborn folks at Apple will reintroduce this simple time-tested hardware option. If I had a dime for every live audio engineer who's cussed out the decision to delete the audio jack on the "modern" phones …
Don’t laugh the vacuum tube might be making a comeback on the nanoscale. Nanoscale vacuum-channel transistors are faster and generate less heat than traditional semiconductor transistors.Google 2025 : Behold, The Cathode Ray Tube.
