All true, but the phone is still not a joke. It has not lived up my my price point but that does not mean is can not represent better value for others.
Dont' get me wrong the phone is not a joke at all. The Nexus line actually would be my choice if I ever switch away from iPhone. All what I'm saying is that it's a shift from Google's earlier stance.
And I understand why; like I said over the past year Xaoimi and One Plus One and other up and comers have been causing major disruption in 'incredible value' line; One Plus One in particular got Engadget raving, so it's becoming tougher for Nexus to compete in that space that it established, so they are moving to the higher end phablet.
