The regular Pixel 10 in blue looks awesome, exactly the type of blue that I like in a phone, kinda like the blue iPhone 16. Just for that color I would ditch the 10 Pro.

I would like to see Google make their phones slimmer and lighter. With a thinner and lighter form factor, their phones would be awesome.

I like the green, it looks a similar colour to my bass guitar, but the gold on it makes it a non-starter. Gold looks rubbish IMO

Fold 10

Google sells the Pixel 8, 8a, 9, 9a, Pros in Europe, but they don't sell the Fold here. Time to change that, or they won't be able to compete with Samsung here ever.

I'm sure many people would love to buy their Fold in Europe but can't.

Weights, dimensions, battery sizes

Pixel 10 Pro Fold has 10% more battery and only 0.3mm thicker and 1 g heavier? Likely to have Qi2 magnets…

Ahhh ****, looks like I might be trading in my Pixel 9 Pro Fold after all. 🤦‍♂️

Google increased the availability significantly last year so It is available in a handful of european countries. Hopefully more get added this year!

I'm most interested in hearing how the brand new TSMC made chipset in this phone performs. Supposed to be made similar to Apple's now, and not like the garbage Exonys Samsung based processors.

I remember reading 2 or 3 years people saying OH MY GOD wait for the Pixel 10 series, it will be a HUGE upgrade in performance and efficiency, a update to the Pixel to make it a true flagship like an iPhone Pro or Galaxy Ultra.

Is that still true?

I want performance on par with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2

It’s already been benchmarked. Shared this a couple pages back:

“slightly faster than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3”

You're going to be disappointed then. It will be no where near the 8 elites performance.

P9PXL was excellent for my usage patterns although there were always down votes on Pixel chip and if you are using a Pixel you know it's about the whole experience..

I would mainly like to see more efficiency meaning longer battery life.

Pixel has always been known to have poor to mid battery life, but never amazing like a iPhone Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy Ultra phone.

Was hoping the move to the brand new, next gen, all new TSMC [H]ardware in the Pixel 10 would change that.

Price point and overall performance will have to be my indication if I switch from my current and well loved Pixel 8.

I will miss the classic visor as I am not a fan of the pill shape as much, but I do like the pixel experience.

If this version is lackluster in true specifications I may wait out yet another year. I mean I had my Pixel 3 until the Pixel 6 came out, and have zero regrets in holding out. If Tensor speed doesn’t take a jump closer to what Apple or Samsung have in their respective processors, really no reason for me to upgrade from my flawless pixel 8 pro, except for option of having a smaller phone .

I completely agree.

Pixel 8 Pro is pretty perfect design wise. I just wished they added gorilla armor glass but the visor design was Pixel design identity for a long time. The new design is cool but I think the visor was great because your phone didn't wobble from the cameras on the back???

The new Tensor on TSMC should be a significant improvement but it is possible the second gen on TSMC might be even better as they will be better able to optimize and fix any issues with the first release. So the Pixel 11 may be worth it. However, the Pixel 10 is exciting in my opinion either way.

I really hope the pixel fold it's dust-proof, I really want to get a foldable but they are too delicate as of now 🙈

Hope they also honor the IP rating. There was some pushback on Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL that had camera bar separation that Google said the devices had water damage and wasn’t covered. I think everyone who had camera bar issues got their device replaced eventually, but several Reddit threads where the level 1 tech support people were trying to screw people over on phones that were clearly defective. Didn’t see any reports of camera bar issues with the Fold though, so that’s promising.
