It is very nice they are keeping the same pricing, specially considering the new foundry they are using has to cost more to make the latest Tensor.

I still think they should start at 256gb and it should be $799 for the P10 and $999 for the P10 Pro. However with the new chip and all the crazy tariffs keeping pricing the same is a win for consumers. This is good news.

With Pre-orders and trade ins hopefully it will make them even more affordable.

Pixel line and fold 7 are nicest looking smartphones these days, period… wouldnt expect that few years ago, apple looks so rigid and outdated to me

Hopefully prices here in the UK don't increase.

I wonder if Google will accept my S24 Ultra as a trade in towards Pixel 10
It's an option on their trade incase currently on the Pixel 9, however they don't offer very much for it. On the UK page they offered £252 for one, which is $334 US, or €289.

To be fair, I finally found a super slim case for my Pixel 9 Pro Fold with properly place magnets that work with MagSafe accessories so I SHOULD sit tight and skip the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, but we all know how that works around here. Especially since I have that extra cash from NOT buying another iPhone this year yet again. I mean, can't let it go to waste, can I? ;)

Oh you will be first in line for sure

I'm very satisfied with my Pixel 9 Pro XL, the new Pixel 10 looks like a side-grade, same size, same design, same screen tech, etc...I was super pumped for TSMC processor tech in the Pixel 10 Pro series, originally rumored to be on par with Apple's A-Series, but I haven't heard amazing things yet.

I just mostly want better efficiency and battery life on par with an iPhone Pro Max or Galaxy Ultra, and performance on par with a S25 Ultra. Will this be the case with the Pixel 10 Pro?

Benchmark put it somewhere around Snapdragon 8 gen 3 performance, so not expecting much from it. The Nothing Phone 3 comes with an 8 gen 4, so this will be the slowest flagship chip this year.

2,276 in single-core and 6,173 in multi-core performance

Well that sucks, so the Pixel 10 Pro will just be a bit better than the Pixel 9 Pro? And will share the same design, the same size, the same screen, etc...at this point then there's basically zero reason to "upgrade" from the P9 to the P10. Phones today have become "appliances" do you upgrade to a new refrigerator or dishwasher every year? Uh no, and now phones are the same, I don't buy a new microwave each year, and there's no point getting a new phone annually if it's basically the same as last years, and the most important factor being the OS, and software which really matter and both phones have the same software.

Rant over :)

You know only peeps that upgrade are here otherwise they should just make small adjustments with occasional bigger changes ..

Benchmarks are fools gold IMHO.....
I have always heard how iPhones benchmark higher than Android phones for years...so they much be so blazingly faster! Yet in my everyday side by side use between my 16PM and P9XL and S25U......I don't see a speed difference between them.......

Agreed. Phones have been "fast enough" for a long time. I run my S25U in the light performance mode because I can't really tell the difference. I am not a pro user editing video on my phone and I don't use it for 3D shooters. I just want it to be a snappy web browser and media device (I think they make calls too... weird rumor I heard).

I am very much more interested in battery life improvements, Qi2, and faster charging. I think we will also get a bit of first-on-10 AI stuff like Gemini Space/Pixel Sense/Magic Cue/whatever it is rumored to be called now. But it will come to the 9-series next Pixel drop most likely.

This^. I have never felt my Pixel 9 Pro Fold felt slow or sluggish at anything I use it for, with its supposedly inferior Tensor chip. 🤷‍♂️

I think most of these chips are far overpowered for the things we generally do on our phones.
