The 10 Pro range will have a 100x zoom? is that the same as the one Samsung currently has I wonder?

Has anyone signed up for the £20/$50 exclusive discount code? I'm assuming it's towards the price of the Pixel 10 lineup.

I'll be watching the Pixel event as I'm off work that day, I believe it's around 6pm UK time.

How good are the Pixel preordering deals? Is it worth preordering? Do they offer extra trade-in value? I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max that I’d like to trade in toward a Pixel 10 Pro XL. Alternatively, I could wait until Black Friday, are the Black Friday deals on Pixel phones usually better?

Looking up the old news articles, last year Amazon and Best Buy had gift cards for preorder: $100 on the base 9, $200 on the 9 Pros, $350 on the 9 Pro Fold.

Black Friday and Prime Day in July had savings, but they were mostly on par with the those gift card deals. $200 off instead of a $200 gift card, stuff like that.

Thank you for taking the time to look up the info, I’d much rather have a discount than a gift card, I have to say.

Heck, last year at Best Buy... folks were able to do a full swap between a iPhone. I think it could of been an error on Best Buy... but they had crazy trade-in deals for the Pixel.

This year i'm not sure if i'll buy a Pixel 10 series (XL) if I do. My main objection is the rumor that the Pixel 10 series will drop physical sims and move entirely to eSIM's in the US. I have no problem with eSIM technology. It's that I have several phones and switch a lot. My budget carrier ($6 p/m) charges for an eSIM swap to another phone. It takes less time to swap a SIM card between phones.

AI seems to be hit or miss with me, for the Grok trial full features turned it into an edgy Gen Z. Turning off the Gen Z mode turn it into nothing more than a Google search, AI just feels like the middleman between you and Google. Gemini works because Gemini is google, but things like Grok or ChatGPT I don't know, I just can't get used to them.
