Not he didn't at all... the Right thing would have been to wait test and completely develop his tool, or just as he "took" comex exploit to make limera1n untethered, he could have give the bootrom exploit so the greenpois0n would have been update and test.
He did give them his exploit. It was only after they said they were going to release SHAtter anyway that he tried to force their hand. Geohot's method of forcing their hand was crude, and he could have perhaps done so without releasing his own tool and stealing the spotlight; but if geohot is right that his exploit is already known, Chronic Dev were also wrong not to have agreed to use Geohot's exploit and insist on burning SHAtter.
