Neither. I am going to wait a while for all my packages to be made compatible with iOS 4.1 and then I will pick the Jailbreak that is thought to be the best of the two at that time.

My actual hope is that these boys all start to play nice and we get one Jailbreak.

Will prob wait for my packages to be updated for 4.1 and maybe till The Dev Team releases their own proper tools. Geohot is ok but has put out some quick and buggy jailbreaks before and about the chronic dev team dont know them much since I never used any of their programs before.
Time will tell I guess.

Will say I ran into a lot more issues with Blackrain than I did the jailbreak.me exploit...though I guess that's moot because comex of jailbreak.me fame provided the actual process for both limerain and greenpoison.

All geohot does is cause trouble. Also a stable jailbreak cannot be made in a matter of hours. I'd rather wait and know that it wasn't buggy.

ummm no.. he had this exploit MONTHS ago when he said he wasnt releasing anything or his exploit .. now he decides to release it after they announce an ETA for greenposin ... i have said this before ..egohots jailbreaks are usually not very stable

I don't think geohot made it in a couple of hours. I think this is the same exploit he has had since April/march.

Nobody knows for certain but it will likely be easy just not as easy as jbme.com. These will most likely require a computer to do the jb. Limerain will prob be one click easy jb, greenpoison will prob be a custom Ipsw like pawnage tool. Hopefully they can agree to just get one jb out in time.

And to the people saying they are waiting for 4.1 compatible pkgs in cydia the os didn't change that much from 4.0 to 4.1 just added game center, hdr, bug fixes, etc. None of the file structures or anything changed so pretty much all apps should work fine and will only need slight tweaking if any at all.

And for all of the people with 3GS excited for limerain instead know that it is a tethered jb unless comex can implement his userland exploit after the bootrom exploit to keep it untethered which sounds like that's what they are going to try to do but if they don't finish it on time they are releasing original greenpoison jb. I think we can all agree not to burn an exploit just so new 3GS users can have a tethered jb which is prob a very small percent of ppl and they can simply wait for the 4.2 jb.

I had post all the details and update on the Original Post, GP does not works on 3GS, limera1n if real and release it suppose to work on all devices

We are all affected by the drama of developer since it affect the end release (date, quality, etc). Right now all we know is that Chronic Dev team is trying to use Geohot exploit to cover all devices and still make it to the tomorrow deadline, if that can't happen then they will release what they had before, if that happen geohot will possible released his limera1n on Monday, burning a second bootrom exploit (that on the JB scene is like diamonds covers on 24K gold, extremely valuable and very hard to find). What is affect you is that the release may be buggy and untested (un not tested enough)
