Why do you suspect AW7 was not ready to order like mini 6 or iPhone 13 within announcement week? It’s been pushed to an undefined date for a reason and no one chip production line is not churning out silicon for all iOS devices there are many lines.

Well seeing as how there is a shortage of chips (and the iPad/iPhone line are apple’s bread and butter) it is easy to see why they would prioritize those (in terms of production and chips) over the Apple Watch.

Strategic cutouts for the Qi coil and magnets attached on the outer ring spaced out to reduce if not eliminate electrical interference. There are some schematics on macrumors that were released prior to iPhone 12 MagSafe system to get a better idea.

Considering that Apple has been reporting that it’s wearable portfolio is growing leaps and bounds every quarter with the AW growing YoY, I doubt Apple would place priority over the mini 6 compared to AW7. iPhone I can understand but not mini 6.

It has an LTPO display, but only down to 10Hz (Apple Watch can reach 1Hz, which I guess is the reason why iPhones didn’t get AOD). That “notification area” rumor sounds very sketchy, I hadn’t even heard it, not at least from Gurman et al. Astrophotography wasn’t explicitly mentioned, but you can do it — they even showed one image with long exposure in the keynote.
I’m not saying they didn’t have a high rate of errors this time (esp. with the watch), but many of the rumors they anticipate are way beyond what you can guess with no extra information.

All of those things I mentioned were rumors that were out there. Not specifically to Gurman but they were still being reported as potentially coming. None of them were right. The LPTO display without AOD doesn’t fulfill the rumor, not even close.

Are you referring to the colour on the stainless steel frame or glass for the iPhone 13 Pro. That’s injected during the production process. Apple has a video I believe it was for iPhone 12 last year. Have a look into the Apple previous keynotes.

Nah it’s logic, you place too much importance on rumours. It’s fun and games, believe what you want? For personal use, you decide what fits your needs presently or if you can wait. If it was a business it would not matter as it’s purchase whatever fits the bill presently.

Gurman is such a waste of bandwidth. It’s actually really sad how much of an attention-hungry wannabe “insider” he is. If the internet went down for a week and he couldn’t get Likes for blind obviousness and easy guesses, he’d probably lose his mind.

I would love to know which iPad OS the thumbs down folks are using.... it can't be the same sucktastic experience everyone else has.

Whats wrong with iPadOS? We’re not all trying to use it as a laptop. As a tablet it’s great.

Whether you admit it to yourself or not iPadOS is limited for what Apple’s “what’s a computer?” AD Campaign. iPadOS 15 being the biggest disappointment while I hope iPadOS 16 being the biggest upgrade for 2022. I suspect Apple was waiting for the entire iPad line to receive USB-C (iPad 10th gen will receive it in 2022), before making improvements to Files.app, maybe more like Finder.app.
