It looks great. Just wish it cost more TBH. Everyone knows you get what you pay for. It would therefore be even better had Apple priced it even higher.
This case should cost $5. Paying more than $5 for a small piece of clear molded plastic, that’s a hard no.
Because people need to be outraged over SOMETHING! Its the norm around here. Why is everyone suddenly outraged about the price of their cases? They have always been $40 for silicone and $50 for leather. This isn't new....
i remember couple of months ago someone here asked if Genius bar will help them install a case on their new phone.....I dont believe that person was trolling......Do we really need a 'hands-on' for a clear case?
There should definitely be a follow-up to see if it yellows. Rumors were that the design combined TPU and Polycarbonate to reduce yellowing. I'd be very interested to see if this is true.Yellow case check in 4-6 months, if that.

Spigen or Otterbox.. and why does Apple hate to protect the bottom of its phones?
Or the apple logo cutouts on the back of the caseNever understood why people like clear cases (I get the reason for them) but my god they are ugly.
Priced at $39.....
I actually prefer the "unprotected" style Apple makes, as it's easier to swipe up without hitting the edge of the case over and over again.Spigen or Otterbox.. and why does Apple hate to protect the bottom of its phones?
Because it does! First of all gestures is a BS excuse because my 6 Plus had the same design and had no gesture area anywhere near the bottom edge of the display. Also the iPhone relies heavily on swipe back from the edge gestures and those work fine with an edge covering. Second of all if you drop it and it lands on the side on the bottom it cracks or otherwise damages the display and housing. I scratched up my 6 Plus cover glass this way and dented the side a little, fortunately not cracking it. We were staying at my wife's grandfather's house in the country. They had a small sink and I had my stuff on the sink and my iPhone on the side. The iPhone got bumped off the counter and that bottom edge hit the weight scale on the floor on the metal rim. If I had practically any other case in existence on at that time, it wouldn't have happened. But no, Apple feels like it doesn't need to have protection around the entire outside and so they don't do it and then we have people like you on the internet who think they know better trying to say it's not an issue when it clearly is. Why not do the top too? Or the sides? Or the back? Let's just remove random patches of protection for no freaking reason. BTW normal cases don't have the bottom cut off and I haven't heard of people complaining about gestures being blocked. Sounds like a made up excuse to me!It was explained in the video. Gestures. As long as it is raised and not able to come in contact with a surface... What does it really matter?
I didn't care about this bare spot at all until Halloween night, when my 1 week old XS Max hit the curb with force exactly in that spot and cracked the screen all to heck. I was using Apple's silicone case.
I've vowed not to get another Apple case going forward. I want protection all around the device (while still being thin and lightweight). Their silicone case is entirely too grippy anyway. That was part of the reason I dropped the phone - I was struggling to get it out of my pocket to take a photo of my daughter. I was wearing a robe costume. It flipped out of my hand and hit the curb hard.
At least this one isn't grippy, but it still lacks protection there and costs too much. I can get clear TPS cases on Amazon for $10 that are more protective.
What is wrong with the Spigen clear case that cost a lot less?
Wait, I know, it doesn't have an Apple logo on it! So how can Apple Fan Boy justify their purchase?
Great minds great innovation great price. Appleheads unite and feel the love.
