Has your Best Buy reservation come in yet?

I was just reading thread similar to this one over on the official BB forums. Only one person has recieved a call about their reservation so far. :(

I don't have my hopes up for a call any time soon. My only advice is to enjoy the wait, since picking up the iPad 2 and unboxing it will be half the fun. :D
 
Well, on to Friday I just got a feeling apple has no plans to give anyone else iPads for awhile until they are caught up a little bit with their own sales.

Best Buys and Targets get < 10 ipads in a shipment while Apple gets hundreds. As far as I can tell, BB and Target's ipad sales are just a way to get people in the stores. They don't make much money off of them since Apple controls the prices, so they just don't care.

Best Buy isn't getting any anytime soon that's why I cancelled my pre-order and got to apple and just waited in lime and boom I got me one! A day after I cancelled.
 
Ehh, I have a feeling no matter what I try in NYC, I won't be getting one for a while. So I'll keep my Best Buy pre-order. And if I happen to find one at B&H, or an Apple Store, hooray for me. If not, I'm playing the waiting game just like everyone else.

Cancelled my reservation and received a refund today after picking one up at Target this morning.
 
Will Best Buy call tomorrow? Only time will tell. My guess is no.

Still waiting on 64GB 3G Black AT&T

I was also guessing that they would not call you. I didn't feel comfortable posting about it until you did though. Thank you for giving me the strength and courage to share my feelings.

Heck no. If I did, I'd be jamming away in GarageBand or making a horror flick in iMovie rather than heckling the other poor saps here.

I have tried to get one and found no luck. I will wait for BB to call me. And if I have to wait too long, my BB gift cards may be put to good use elsewhere or merely refunded.

Dear Diary...., I woke up Angry today..

This morning I woke to what I imagined the sound of a ringing cell phone. I sprung from my slumber to check for a missed call, sadly it was only a dream or wishful thinking, no such call was to be found... I'm going back to bed:rolleyes: :)

I chose the 16GB Wifi black. I thought about the white, or maybe the 32GB. I'm hoping my choice is common enough that plenty get shipped to my store, but not so common that a bunch of other people in front of me get them all.
 
I chose the 16GB wifi black as well. This will be my first iPad. I'll use it and determine whether next time I should go with the 3G model or get more memory.

LOL Yesterday I got two calls from #s I didn't recognize in the BB area code (the area code changes between my house and the BB), and got all excited both times..... It was just my pharmacy one time and my OB the other. :(

I'm also waiting for 16GB black wifi, and was told almost everyone else who reserved wanted 32 or 64GB models. Which is great b/c I'm at the top of the list, but now I'm worried that if they DO get a shipment in, it won't have any for me. I've been checking Targets and at this point I think I'd be willing to go with white if it popped up, not getting any model that costs more, though.

when did you reserve it?
I reserved the 32 black wifi @ the same BB-- maybe third on list
 
I reserved early Saturday afternoon, as soon as I found out they were doing reservations. She actually couldn't tell me exactly where I was on the list, but she said that practically all the other reservations she'd seen were for 32 or 64GB models, almost none for 16GB. So I figure that translates to a very good chance of being in the top 5 for black wifi specifically... if they get any of those.
