M6 day one 8 had a screen issue. I reached out to Apple and sent pics. They agreed it was faulty. They wanted an engineer to call me and go over possible solutions. Realizing this was going to be a lengthy process to getting my phone replaced I just took it back to the store I bought it at and got a new one. Much easier.

Return the phone, wait till they have stock, buy another. Use a cheap/older iPhone in the meantime. OP is acting like this is rocket science

As for the one asking here’s a list of issues:

1. I couldn’t restore from my previous iPhone 7 Plus backup. I keeps giving me an error.
2. The phone froze on me several times while surfing, browsing pictures and sending pictures to a text. The phone literally froze, I couldn’t do anything.
3. The phone does not auto sync from iTunes. My iTunes is uptodate and I’ve rebooted both. The phone gets recognized both phone and computer and it charges. It just fails to auto sync.

I have your same problems: restored from a backup of an iphone 6s to iPhone 8+.
iTunes 12.7  doesn't want to recognize my iPhone 8+ and every time asking for a : "Do you want to set it up as a new iPhone or restore from backup?"
Restored few times already but still:( I cannot put my ringtones on the disgraced new iPhone and my music playlists either. The App store on the iPhone kept crashing every time I was looking to download my purchased , so I tried to use Configurator that works fine with the apps but not with music and tones
Any idea how to circumvent the issue? I cannot return it because I live in Canada and bought it in the States, because if I could I would have returned it already. Not impressed at all with everything!

No because they can get away with it. I want my replacement but I don’t want them to get off easy. These are senior advisors I’ve dealt with. Giant useless waste of air.

I did but the “senior advisor” again I quote, senior advisor... had that disgusting tone that is dismissive and make it seem like it was my fault. Like hold up, I was the one who purchased 5 days ago, I expect this to work out of the box. What a useless senior advisor you are.
[doublepost=1506560801][/doublepost]Btw when’s the best time to order for stock replenishment? Is it 10pm?

Senior is just title. There are new iPhones and no one is senior about them.
Do you know how many iPhones they make everyday? It’s normal that there are one or two defects. If it’s hardware issue, they won’t be able to really diagnostics until you return the phone back to them.

Lets count the days before you find something wrong with this one!

Welcome back, I have been "there" a few times. it is not so bad.
Lol I know right. So far so good.
