Any chances the iTunes live stream could be like Grooveshark? (Main reason why the grooveshark app was rejected over and over by Apple?)
Mark me down as another one who doesn't think it is the Beatles... BUT the conspiracy theorist in me does think that the hands on the four clocks kind of resemble the cover of Help!

Here are my thoughts....
Since the event is at 10am EST and not 10am PST, that would mean Steve Jobs is in North Carolina -- not Cupertino.
Well, that is a very nice read on the timing of the event....everyone missed that.
It's either that or standard 7am PST press release time....
WTF Apple?
Little over hype on this one.

Apple is preparing to announce that its iTunes Store will soon start carrying music by the Beatles.
Wsj is almost never right. They should be ignored
By ETHAN SMITH
Steve Jobs is nearing the end of his long and winding pursuit of the Beatles catalog.
Apple Inc. is preparing to announce that its iTunes Store will soon start carrying music by the Beatles, according to people familiar with the situation, a move that would fill in a glaring gap in the collection of the world's largest music retailer.

The deal resulted from talks that were taking place as recently as last week among executives of Apple, representatives of the Beatles and their record label, EMI Group Ltd., according to these people, who also warned that there is still a chance that Apple could change plans at the last minute.
Spokesmen for Apple, EMI and Paul McCartney declined to comment.
The agreement represents a watershed in a fraught, decades-long relationship between two of the biggest icons in their respective fields. The two sides have traded lawsuits since 1978, when the Beatles alleged that the computer maker, then known as Apple Computer, infringed on the band's trademark. That's because the Beatles in 1968 created a wholly owned entity called Apple Corps Ltd., that acted as an arts-promotion company and owned Apple Records. Though EMI retained ownership of the Beatles recordings, the Apple logo was printed on their albums.
Terms of the deal that brought the Beatles music to iTunes could not be learned.

Not to be a debby downer, but I'm also starting to think this isn't going to be NEARLY as big as some people are making it out to be.
If it's just the Beatles coming to iTunes, that's great and all, and Apple will make a ton of money, but it's not a revolutionary, magical or "never-forget" type of announcement.
The fact that there is no media event is a tell... Apple LOVES to give the media a week to get themselves all hot and bothered and drum up lots of free publicity. One day in advance is odd, unless Apple fears that it'll get leaked out in that one week timeframe.
I'd love for it to be a streaming service, live TV, iOS 4.2, wireless sync, free MobileMe and top it off with the Beatles coming to iTunes... but my gut tells me that people expecting those things are going to be really sad tomorrow afternoon.
I'd LOVE to be wrong BTW.![]()

It's big to Apple. Doesn't mean it's big to us.
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)
The fact that the news is coming FROM iTunes is interesting wording. Sounds like some sort of streaming....
