I'm using a combo of Christmas and birthday money, plus I have been putting money aside every pay since January. Also have some from shovelling snow for a neighboor. With this I have $1640CAD so I can buy the :apple:Watch with link bracelett, extra charging cable, and AC+.

I have a few items that I purchased yet never used which will be sold to subsidize my purchase.

1 TB external HD, Apple Leather Case, Amazon Fire TV Stick, 256GB USB3 stick, 32GB SD Card. All new and in box. Need to put them up on marketplace soon...

I started saving $20 a week here and there since they announced it last year. So I've already got the money saved up and ready to go. In fact, I went to Kroger and just bought a huge Apple Store gift card. This way, the money will be set aside for the Apple Watch and I can double dip by getting those sweet, delicious fuel points. Gift cards are 2x points!

Well mine is a mixture of savings and my birthday is approaching and people are just going to give me some money towards it.

I decided maybe I'll steal it from a kid's piggy bank. That is the best option, what do they need money for anyway? And all of you tax refund people are reminding me that I need to do taxes :(

Selling part of my liver on the black market :/ ... Kidding. Just normal client project work. I'm not going to use credit or anything. If I don't have the extra at the time then I'll wait a week. But, before April 24th I have to get a new roof for my house, brakes on my car, and new water heater and finish kitchen flooring. Not to mention paying monthly bills. Apple Watch is a want for me not a need. Even though I'm a developer I can wait a week or two and find it through a client project.

I've been saving for a new wearable health monitor. I'll be paying it with CC, but for the sake of the poll, it already has its reserved place in my checking account.

Disposable income over March and April.

Before they announced the price, i had budgeted $800 for the SS with milanese loop, but since i live in canada its $919 before taxes ($1040 total) including an extra band, so i have to use dip into Aprils disposable income to cover the difference.

I was doing some math and in canada its $10 cheaper to buy the SS with black sports band plus additional Milanese loop( $978) than to buy the SS with milanese loop plus extra sports band ($988). So at least there is that.

$600 Apple Gift card and paying the rest myself.

I'm so excited.. I just can't fight it. :apple:

If I buy one this year (still undecided), I'll cash out some of my Apple stock which has made more than enough to purchase one over the past year. Too bad that wasn't a poll option, lol.

Seriously—this is the best idea I've ever had. Basically I just invested like 20% of my savings and have a rolling loss threshold that I cash it all out. I haven't had to do that so far. Free Apple stuff from AAPL!

'From disposable income' should've been an option.

Not sure why every option listed requires digging into reserves.

Because the bulk of people who want to discuss how to pay for the watch are struggling with how to do so, and are trying to justify it. Those of us who can just afford one don't come in here parading about it.

Hmm. This actually makes a certain amount of sense.

Bankrolled a little by little since the original announcement. Will buy on credit card (Airline miles are serious business), but will pay off in full immediately.

Bring on the :apple:Watch :D

As with any extravagant tech purchase, I give myself 1/5th of the cost from my personal spending account then start trolling craigslist/yard sales for electronics I can repair and sell on eBay. I've made enough to fund a 42mm SS with a leather and a sport strap, so now all I have to do is wait.

Just FYI, I earn way more per hour at my actual job than I do from fixing and selling electronics. It's certainly not a career, but it helps ease the guilt of buying something like Apple Watch.
