You can keep your casseroles. I'll take thin crust.

then dump your marinara sauce on a giant flour tortilla LOL

Dude - I do the same! My wife thinks its disgusting.

There is nothing better for breakfast for a real man than the cold leathery hide of a day old pizza slice that's been left in the box on the living room coffee table. sometimes if its made just right it tastes even better the next day--like a fine wine pizza improves with age.....well, until the cheese molds. :D

I love a mediterranean pizza or also known as a White Pizza.

If not available, Sausage, Greenpepper, Pepperoni

Round Table is more expensive than other chains, but better.

They sometimes offer a New York style gourmet pizza whose name I forget, but is super.

NY style is the best.

Amichi's is a small chain in the the SF Bay Area and offers good NY style pizza and every now and then I run across a family owned place that has good stuff.

Interesting that the so-call gourmet pizzas have less stuff on them, but cost more.

Gots to be reheated in the morning. We always order a big pizza so as to also get breakfast out of it.

I want to invent the perfect pizza re-heater, but I have a slab of granite left over from my kitchen counter project. I heat that up, then put the pizza on it and cook it till the top is bubbly.

Or, it goes in the micro cuz I get lazy and hungry.

First of all, mom's homemade pizza, nothing can beat it. Ever. In any universe.

But on a close second, there is a small pizza place about 30m from my apartment, run by a family from southern Europe. Thin crust, roasted in a proper oven, homemade tomato sauce, a nice portion of mozarella cheese and proper Italian spicy pepperoni.

I'm hungry...

There's a little place down a side street off the main square in Siena that makes the greatest Calzone I've ever tasted and is definitely the definitive pizza.

Failing that, any pizza from anywhere in Italy...

I get mine from a place called John's Pizza and Subs. Toppings have to be pepperoni and black olives. Sometimes I will add italian sausage or green peppers.

Round Table is my once-in-a-while indulgence. The problem is, they discontinued the "small" size -- now you have to choose between the "individual" and the "medium"! Now, that individual just isn't enough for me; however, even a garbage gut like myself has trouble eating a medium by my lonesome.

I think i've seen them in my area (more or less). I'll have to try it out.

That tends to do bad things to the crust if you're not careful. :(

That is the question....

Pepperoni, sausage, olives, bell peppers, onions, mozzarella, parmesan, chili, and homemade marinara in a deep dish. Served with cold beer. Mmmm...

Shaping up to be a possible pizza night here

Anybody try the new and improved Domino's?

What did you think?
I know most here are down on chains, but I have tried their "revised" recipe
While it isn't the best pizza in the world, I think it is a definite improvement

I order from Domino's for their Philly Cheesesteak Pizza
Otherwise, I would probably go elsewhere

It was hit and miss for me. I like the crust, with some garlic flavor. The sauce was a bit too sweet for me. I may have to give them another try, though. Of course, I just had a Red Baron for lunch, so maybe later. (What? It was only $4!)

Went to a local Italian Restaurant in Long Beach Ca. and had one of the best pizza's. It was called Quattro Stagioni, it was nothing but cheese and light dose of olive oil. The cheeses were, Gorgonzola, Mozzarella, Ricotta and Provolone... It was outstanding!!!!

I try to not eat pizza at all as many of the ingredients are not very healthy. However, on the rare occasion that I do have it (about 1-3 times per year) I like plain cheese, mushroom and pepperoni kind. Don't like any other topping though.

there is a great place in Salt Lake City called The Pie Pizzeria. It is so fabulous. I get pepperoni, black olives, extra cheese. Yum! Also have had the "Mountain of Meat" which is Pepperoni, Smoked Ham, Genoa Salami, Italian Sausage, and Ground Beef. Very tasty.

I absolutely hate chain pizza. Especially in Buffalo, where there's a place around the corner no matter where you are that's of much better quality than a chain (as for the wings... there's no comparison).

My favorite local place is Bocce's. Consistently incredible, always noticeably fresh. Just plain cheese and pepperoni is great, but sometimes I'll have a craving for a white pizza.

Domino's with sliced Italian sausages. Their new stuff is much better than the old cardboard stuff, but I'm not saying they make the best pizza around, they're just damn convenient. :)
