snip... it's about why iOS doesnt act like any other "computer" in the known universe.. it launches apps, that's it.
No. That is not it.
Based your above comment it can be easily surmised you have no idea what the a computer is, or what the definition of computer is.
There is one world recognized meaning for computer:
com·put·er
kəmˈpyo͞odər/
noun
noun: computer; plural noun: computers
an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program.
synonyms: personal computer, PC, laptop, netbook, ultraportable, desktop, terminal;
mainframe; Internet appliance;
The above is what any human with access to the internet will find when they look up what the word "computer" means.
They will not find your android fantasy meaning of what you imagined a computer is.
Now does the iPhone fit into that meaning - Yes.
The ability to access, see and manipulate files from the hard drive is quite important.
Why because you say so?
This is a mantra repeated often and with diligence from the fandroid collective.
It's required so they can try and separate themselves from the mediocrity that is the Android landscape.
Please show supporting evidence of that claim, especially since Galaxy Note is niche device.
The 1.3 billion active IOS devices as of 2-1-2018 speaks louder than any fandroid fantasy about the importance
"the ability to access, see and manipulate files from the hard drive is quite important."
The Galaxy Note 2, which was one of the best-selling Note series devices, sold more than 40 million units over its lifetime,” says Neil Shah from Counterpoint Research. “However, since Apple’s launch of plus size iPhones and also from other Android competitors, Samsung’s Note series have seen a bit of decline and now averages around 25 million units over a lifetime.
If iOS was a car, it would be on a freeway with no exits, it can go nice and fast, but only in a straight line, as Apple designed the road.
Freeways have exits, that's how you get to where you're going. Just like using an iphone.
Android is an off roader, it can go wherever the hell it wants.... and have fun getting there..
Good explanation for Android malware, thanks!
