I can't see your usage stats in that screen shot. Regardless, I can see from your app usage that you should be getting way more than 'a few hours' so try restoring iOS. Something is obviously wrong.

Well, it's basically
13% safari
11% home s
10% music
9% settings
8% messages
Snappseed (that I used to edit 3 pictures since I got the app) 7%

I only got the phone yesterday, will return/exchange tomorrow before work.

Have you installed a backup or in any way altered the 'out of the box' experience? Why not try erasing all content & settings and then installing as new. You could get exactly the same outcome if you exchange your phone, along with some other fault.

Sadly I did a new iPhone set up, I'm having other small issues with the phone like my screen is way too warm next to me flat mates 6s, loose headphone jack sticky home Button and stuck power button which makes alsmot inposibble to press when using s case.

You've got 2 bars. That will kill battery life right there.

I can get 10-11 hours from my 6S+ with two dots of signal the whole time. It's a consideration but no way does it account for truly shocking battery life.

It sounds like a right old duffer then.

Really?! I used to have an iPhone 6s Plus a year ago which I exchanged for the 6 and even the 6 had a better battery life then what I'm having now, I don't honestly think the bars would be 100% responsible, I just saw somewhere that the Samsung chips can make some difference...

If I get 8 hours at my office, where I get 3 bars, I consider that "good". And that's with using mostly Wifi and not a lot of actual use. The only way I can get 11 hours of usage under that condition is by primarily using the phone to listen to music.

At home, where I get 5 bars, I'm on track to exceed 10 hours, while uploading over 1700 pictures to Flickr.

I've been on the same network for over a decade, and lived/worked in the same place so all of my stats are based on poor signal strength. I can still get over 10 hours on my Plus phones despite this and it's primarily web browsing.

I got my 6s 128GB about a week and 1/2 ago and coming from an iPhone 5 I am really really impressed with battery life. I can literally get 2 days out of my 6s while my 5 was only 1 full day and my 5 had a new battery as well. My 5 was also running the same iOS 9

I'm blown away at my battery results because I'm using my phone the exact same way as my 5 but the 6s is getting much better battery.
Here are my latest iPhone 6s battery results:

Running it down to 1%
Usage 6 hr 1 min
Standby 36 hr 31 mins

Running it down to 1%
Usage 7 hr 30 mins
Standby 56 hr 46 mins

Running it down to 13%
Usage 5 hrs 42 mins
Standby 40 hr 6 mins

Did a restore last night. Battery pretty good today. Samsung 6s Plus.

6s TSMC Chip

Best Cycle so far! Screen at 50-60%, energy saver ON when I hit 20%. Mostly WhatsApp (and WhatsApp web) and Safari, streaming a football game. Plus texting and Facebook.

My 6s plus battery (samsung) works just the same as my 6s battery (tsmc)
I got 10 hours 30 mins usage with 4% battery left in my 64gb 6s+.. Mine is a Samsung one

Don't think any tamc 6s touches can match that.

I took it off my charger yesterday at 3 am, today is 5 am and it's still on 35%. I didn't have that much calls yesterday though, but this is still a good result IMHO.

No offense, but you are wrong. I bought a 6s that has a TSMC chip and later regretted and decided to get a 6s+. My 6s+ came with samsung and I restored the same backup to both devices. Used them both during my 14 day return window and the 6s+ with the samsung chip only managed 40 extra minutes on average over my 6s with the TSMC. I returned the 6s+ and kept the smaller 6s since battery life wasn't remarkably better. I'm thinking about trying my luck and getting another 6s+ Sim Free and hoping it comes with a TSMC chip. The 6s I kept gets me anywhere from 9 hrs to 10 hrs usage depending on apps used, etc.

Maybe your 6s has got great battery life.. Not many 6s gives you over 9 hours of usage in a single charge. This forum will prove that ..
Anyways, for my usage, I get more than 10 hours from a single charge on my 6s+ Samsung chip and I charge my phone once in 2 days.. That's more then enough for me.. I use my iPhone for roughly 5-6 hours a day it means..

Still not overly impressed by my Samsung 6s.. most notably, the standby drain of 6s has been generally higher than any of my previous iPhones. I had turned Hey Siri off and all other settings are generally the same with my older iPhones.. Any suggestions and comments?
