I'm happy with my battery life so far on my 6s Plus. Beats what I was getting on my 6 Plus. Still have about a third to go.

Is that a 6S Plus? Wow.. You must barely use your phone. And I'm guessing you charged BEFORE you went to bed and left if OFF charger over one 8-9 hour period?
I use it quite a lot to be fair which is why I'm shocked how well it lasted.

Took it off charge at 5am finished work at 6pm and it still had 60% left

Went to bed and it was still at 50% and charged it up at 3pm today. So I wasn't on it badly every 10 mins as was working for 12 hours but still had good usage.

Only thing o have off is background refresh and when on wifi I kept 4G data off so to test it I'm going to leave 4G on even when using wifi to see the difference in results.

Got work tonight at 6pm so my phone will be 100% by the time I leave at 5.40

And yes this is the 6s plus

Okay. That explains some things. You have a sort of 'non-standard' work day/usage pattern. When you charge your phone NOT when you're sleeping and then leave it OFF charger for those long sleep hours or work day where you are only using your phone on breaks - then it really pads the StandBy numbers way up. Most people's pattern is to use ALL day - then charge all night while sleeping and take off charger when you wake up. It's that pattern that we really want to do our comparisons with - to really be comparing apples to apples. And in the final analysis is the USAGE hours (not Standby) that really tell the tale.

I too always keep background app refresh off but I LEAVE Data always turned on even when on Wifi. The Data antenna is obviously a big battery user. If you turn it off you'll get some amazing battery savings there. So with ONLY Background App Refresh off - and charging my phone BEFORE bedtime and then OFF charger while I was sleeping I got numbers close to yours on my 6S+ - 27 hours Standby and 9 hours usage.

But on an average day with moderate usage through the day (calls, surfing, forums - no games) and on charger ALL NIGHT while sleeping my numbers, by the end of the day are averaging: 18hours standby, 7.5 hours Usage with 13% leftover before bedtime. I think that's great and better than 6+ and on par with what Apple is saying we should be getting.

So folks, PLEASE remember to put which phone you have when showing numbers and tell us if your phone was on charger or off charger for the period you slept. Then we can make a fair comparison.

And always post a screenshot as 'proof' please.. So right before your screen shot - write something like this:

6S+, on (or off) charger while sleeping, [surf, calls, gaming], all feature on (or - no PUSH MAIL.. some description here of what features you leave on or off)
.... something like that..

Currently. Getting ready to put it on the charger. The only thing I have off is the background refresh. iPhone 6S Plus.

Well when I used my phone all day the last charge my numbers were

13 hours usage
16 hours standby

And that day I didn't need to charge till gone mid night

Yep. That's more consistent with the rest of the numbers we're seeing for 6S+. All good news from here.

I've always said if we can take our phones off charge when we wake up and don't need to charge again till we sleep again that's all we can ask for. If it lasts more then bonus.

These were my numbers yesterday. I have the 6s, charge overnight, and am on LTE (with wifi off) from 6:15am-6:30pm, so a majority of my safari use is off wifi. I had a total of 204 minutes of screen on time (not counting phone). Best day so far!

My numbers are pretty much identical to yours. Is this better than last years 6? Seems to match my old g3

I can't really answer that well since I was using a 6+ for like 4 weeks, on T-Mobile's JOD program, and before that a 2014 Moto X. It is definitely better than the X was.

Here is mine so far. at 49%, and this is the 6S Plus.

Edit: and if anyone else is wondering, I haven't listened to music yet.

*Sigh, I wish the thing was on top

I'd say much better than my 5s which I thought was very good. I'm surprised how good so far

Now that I've had it a few days, it seems far, far better than my old phone. I haven't been on it a lot today. But I'm at 83% right now, and haven't charged it since before going to work.

Quick question how may of you use iCloud music library & Apple Music to stream music or are you guys listing to music you put in the device?

When playing those games how fast does ur battery drop?
Not much. But then I do have % turned off. I only turned it on for the purpose of posting and after that I turn it off. But typically when it's 90% it's always around 2 hours of usage.

2 hours of gaming and you only go down to 90?! WOW!
