Are you saying putting on and taking off a case may cause a phone to bend? I could understand that sitting on a phone could bend a phone but not putting in a case. If putting on a case on can bend an iPhone, then the iPhone 6/6+ are the biggest piece of garbage phones in the world.

It might not be visible now but will become more visible with each passing week. The integrity of the unibody has been compromised and will bend more and more.

No, I'm saying that wrestling with a case constantly could possibly cause an issue with the way the glass sits. Some of the cases are extremely tight and I've actually had to give someone at Apple to help me remove them in the past.

If not that, then something caused this phone to no longer meet the OP's standards. He can't see any bend at all - so that would suggest a warp somewhere.

Or a wrap, if you prefer.

the funny thing about these bending 6 Pluses is that not a single person has done anything for the phone to have bent!

it seems to be happening by itself! the phone is bending itself!

seems..odd, right?

Who's telling the truth?

Op forgot to mention wrestling with the case nor going to apple everyday because he is incompetent to take off a case. Maybe the Apple genius broke it.

To the OP...As the voice of reason on these forums..I feel for you bud.

I wish your expensive phone had the build quality to match. I 100% believe you and if it happens to my wife with the 6+ I'm going to be irrate and I will be at the apple store demanding a replacement.

These forums are full of fanboys, that have no compassion, and just want to point blame at the victim..sad.

To all the posters breaking his chops..why? The guy pays a lot of money for a top of the line phone and because of the cheap build (for lack of a better word), now the phone is not right. He's only had it a couple weeks and already there's a bend from normal use.

If you think the OP is trolling, ignore him. If you think he's being sincere..show some compassion.

Just know..just because your phone doesn't have issues..doesn't mean everyone's the same. In my opinion..I think apple made a bad batch. I believe behind the scenes they are reinforcing these phones so that they nip it in the bud sooner than later. They will never admit they made a batch of bad phone or used cheaper materials in some batches. Now that it's out there, people getting the 6+'s down the road will be getting stronger phones

the Apple case is not too tight, I have been using a simple twist of a crowbar to take it off, like I have always done with my phones

Normal people do not take it out of the case on a daily basis to perform a bend test then claim it is bent when they can't see it.

So much for being the voice of reason...

"Victim"?

You mean like rape victims or domestic violence victims?

No?

Ok. Dial it back, then.

the use of that tone, along with your profile pic and mention of domestic violence.... mmmm, I don't like this very much

Whether he goes overboard or not checking his phone is not the point. The point is he knows the phone is bent and there is a flaw in his brand new device.

Bananaphone Part XXXVCLXXIII.

Are Bendgate deniers also members of the Flat Earth Society?

Seriously.

If you've been reading his posts the motive is clear. He's been arguing for days that everyone who owns a 6 Plus is just a bend victim who hasn't happened yet. He literally said yesterday that there were only two kinds of 6 Plus owners: ones with bent phones and ones who's phones "just haven't bent yet." Meanwhile he's been making a spirited argument in favor of launching a class action lawsuit over it and even started characterizing himself as a victim of the 6 Plus a couple days ago BEFORE his phone supposedly bent (even though he can't even see the bend.)

Conclusion? He really, Really, REALLY wants his phone to be bent. To that extent I find his account highly suspect. And mailbox? It may come as a surprise to you, but people actually do read these threads, so leaving a trail that reveals your motives, whether conscious or not? Poor choice.

Dr Phil would call that deflection

You do sound like the voice of reason

Monkey, I do appreciate you spending the time to read my posts, it means a lot to me.

I just wish that maybe, you would not use words like 'literally said', and then misquote me. As you say, those posts leave a trail, and anybody with enough time could check here that you're being dishonest.

I am sorry if I hurt your feelings in that post by proving your math wrong, I had a feeling you would seek vengeance eventually.

Edit: let me quote the post that Monkey refers to, I am not hoping for an apology for his literal quote that wasn't one, but at least it will show us are bending the truth quite a bit

I would say "People who's phone haven't bent YET"
Phones that have not bent in a week or two of use are not phones that will never bend. Only the test of time will tell us if these phones bend more easily than they should.

My mind is blown at how defensive people can get.

Word spreads in popular media that a popular device might have a particular issue.

Individual has a device, performs perfectly valid test to see if changes occur over time.

People call him anal for performing this test, call him whiny for noticing and expressing a noticeable change in results.

I'm a happy owner of a smaller 6. I did the same test when I first took it out of the box so I can see firsthand if there's any change over time. This is… absolutely understandable behavior.

My feelings aren't hurt and anyone here most certainly can... and should look at your posts. Because I haven't been dishonest at all. The posts are still right there on the page for anyone and everyone to see.

Can you see gravity? I can't. I can see the affects of gravity, because I have a brain. You can test my my theory, look off the 10 th floor of building and try to see gravity. If you don't see it, newton must be wrong and then just walk off..

Can a blind person claim his iPhone is bent since they can not see it? Can a blind person make any claim since they can not see?

I edited my previous post to actually quote myself, along with your literal quote, I wouldn't want people to waste time on this

you guys are sad... listen, you're right, I just noticed that every surface I tried it on had suddenly wrapped in the exact same way. now that I think about it, every single surface in my house has wraped overnight...

Why are your tables "wrapping"? Or are they rapping? If so, you could probably sell those tables and buy 30 more iPhones.

So now it is not normal to take it out of a case everyday?

I know several women who change their iPhone case nearly every day. They now can't because the phone is too fragile. Unreal lol.

Wow. Thanks for willfully manufacturing an even bigger fail for yourself completely unprompted. I got one word wrong. "Just." Beyond that my comment was dead on. Your quote of your own post proves it beyond any shadow of doubt. Thanks!
