To those who ordered the knock-offs, please if you could, write a review and check the quality of those cases compared to the real Solo case. I'm just curious since my Solo FX should be coming soon but never got a chance to deal with those eBay stuff.
 
Just ordered the orange Solo FX. Will put some pics up when I get the case. I also ordered the Switcheasy Rebel in olive and artic.

Looks like the girl in the video bought her knockoff from eBay seller kblworld. You can find their iSolo FX-like cases by searching on soft rubber case iphone 3g.

I bought mine by searching on soft plastic case iphone 3g, and I believe that seller is one of the few selling black and white cases. (I bought the black.)

Yes, billchase2, I think we bought from the same seller. :)

Can't wait for it to come!

Thats why i posted and took pics for everyone.. for what its worth the knock offs are worth the little money. They are not the same as iskins but damn good.

I'm going to rock my "bootleg breeze" tomorrow!!!!

My iSkin Solo arrived today and is a very good fit. Not sure I like it in red though.

I'm currently using the red solo fx- doesnt look "that" good on a black phone.

But im changing to a 32gb 3gs white and ordered another solo fx in ocean blue, which will look "s!ck"

what do people think of the front mirror look cover-i havent applied mine yet.
 
i just recieved my solo black case yesterday for my black 32GB 3G S. I aslo use a power support anti-glare screen protector. I just took the phone out from my pocket and there were some air bubbles along the right side of the phone under the screen protector. Is there a tip on how to put the case on so this doesnt keep happening when i take it in and out of my pocket with this case on?

You just have to make sure your screen shield is lined up perfectly. If it is coming off the edge of the glass even just a tiny bit, this can occur with this case (as well as any other case that covers the chrome bezel). I would recommend you try to take the shield off and see if you can re-align it a bit more. :D

really?? I like the red on black, it has a dark candy apple tone. In fact .. i have an apple on my desk it its pretty much the same color. :apple:

Perhaps it is my being a tad colourblind, but I did have the solo fx in blue and it looked nothing like the pictures on the website. To my eyes, it looked to have a lot of turquoise in it.
 
I too got myself the 'ebay version' of the iSkin Solo FX(black) for $5.20, will post some review of it when I get it.
For those who have gotten it, does the knockoff by any chance scratches the bezel of the phone or any part of the phone ?

I dont think there is any issue with scratching, the knock off is almost the same as the iskin.

Those pictures you took are almost exactly the same as the one I've got, except that mine was Solo FX so I just have some circles. I've been trying cases that would fit a skin and I think I'm gonna settle for this one till the next iPhone arrives. :D
 
I received my Bodyguardz today, no Solo yet but should be here soon. I applied the bodyguardz front without much trouble. The back was a different story. Started out pretty promising but ended up playing with the corners too much. So I tore it off and went on with the second back. I had much better success this time and currently have saran wrap on the corners ensuring that they are flat. There are a few bubbles on the back that I hope will disappear after some time. Especially because I got almost a perfect fit with the second back. Stage 1 complete, I HOPE!
