My iMac was stuck in China for two days while it cleared customs. It landed on US soil in Alaska yesterday (Wed) but hasn't moved since.
Anyone else?
It might meet the delivery date. Mine has been sitting in Alaska since yesterday... And I'm guessing they won't delivery it directly to Dulles, it still has to go to Louisville.
Depends. They sometimes ship directly to destination from Anchorage.
It's either still awaiting customs, or waiting for the right plane to leave.

Just ordered a maxed out iMac with retina display 5K as well! (4.0 GHz, 32 Gb RAM, M295x, 3TB Fusion). I'm a Radiologist (programmer in my former life) so I also will utilize every pixel on this amazing display!![]()

Mine left Alaska less than 2 hours after it arrived.
Landed in Louisville at 1:31AM EST early this morning.
No "Import Scan" yet indicating it cleared customs.
Mine is still in Alaska with yours.Did yours land in Alaska around
Anchorage, AK, United States 10/22/2014 1:12 P.M. Arrival Scan
Because mine hasn't moved since that update and I'd think ours were on the same shipment.

Very odd that we were on the same flight out of China and into Alaska but mine is still in Alaska. That is assuming it doesn't ship straight from there to Colorado. Though I've only ever seen international shipments go through Kentucky as a hub.
am i the only one thinking that its ridiculous spending so much money on a machine like this?
Must be waiting for mine to catch up.My iMac is sitting in Alaska.

and the fact that some people post their order-screenshots and changing their signatures is ridiculous too. you are by fare the coolest peoples i know.

If you want to max out the config, then you should get the 1TB SSD option..
Why is it ridiculous? Maybe you cannot justify the cost, but others apparently do.
About the signatures, I cannot say that I don't agree, but I also understand the joy people feel and want to share it with others. I definitely though don't like people that want to show off..
After doing some quick research, just changed my order to the 1TB SSD![]()
