I Ordered My Retina iMac High End What did you get?

How do you like the screen so far? I just picked up a base model from the Apple store but I won't be able to open it until after work.
I'm debating purchasing this 5k iMac:
4.0GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB (Will upgrade on my own)
1TB Fusion Drive
AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4GB GDDR5
I use Photoshop and Illustrator daily for graphic design / illustration.
I also do a lot of gaming (Mainly Blizzard games) and I'm curious if someone could tell me how games will translate to the 5K. Will they be blurry?

Looks like people who ordered their retina iMacs 10/23 are getting shipping confirmations today. I ordered mine 10/23 at 6pm CST. Hope to see my shipping confirmation soon!
My initial delivery dates were Nov 6-11. I will get it on the 31st of Oct. You will have yours by the 4th of Nov. That's what my magic 8 ball said anyway.

stunning... on web, in games, in high def video, images... just like all of us with iDevices, once you see retina it is hard to go back

anyone going around saying games are blurry is completely off base. i just ran through Diablo III @ both 5K and 2K and they were both stunning. the small pixels of retina appear to offset the way larger pixel doubling used to look fuzzy. i could not be happier so far... and I bought this thing mainly to do office-type work and game

Mine shipped at 3:00 this morning! Fedex says it'll arrive by 10:30 on 10/31. I don't regret the 2-3 day shipping.

It's coming monday. Haven't been this excited for new tech in ages.
Mine is on the truck for home delivery, a day early.
Ordered Tuesday, Oct 22nd. Paid the expedited shipping. Basically 8 days from ordering to delivery.
The sad thing- my work schedule prevents me from opening this until tomorrow night! Arrgggh!

Update: mine shipped last night! It took just over 12 hours to go from "Preparing for Shipping" to "Shipped". I've also noticed that in many cases, those that selected Expedited shipping are getting their iMacs one day earlier than those of us who choose Standard shipping.

More than likely Fedex. I ordered about the same time but didn't make it to Fedex yesterday until after the cutoff. My guess is ours is on a Fedex plane that lands in Memphis just before midnight. Not enough time for delivery tomorrow but Friday should be it.
While the 5th Ave store didn't have it the one in Grand Central did. It looks very good., There is a setting in the screen which lets you choose between at one end more desk space (and smaller symbols and letters) and larger letters, in the middle sitting a Retina option, where everything is optimized. I was worried that in the highest resolution the screen is unreadable (as too small letters) but apparently that can be adjusted easily. Gorgeous looking screen.
