Having to carry around 2 devices for something an iPhone (or other Android, WinPho7) could already do by itself sounds like a bad idea :(

actually, its the iPhone that doesnt do what I need it to. I cant use BBM with my iPhone, I also cant use it with my bose dock or with the iPod capable machines at the gym with the bumper case on.

I have to bring my iPod touch (older model) with me to the gym every day anyways.

The iPhone is cool because of the apps and everything but the blackberry is better for the important stuff.

Windows Phone 7. I'm already thinking about getting the Lumia 900 when it drops. -prepares for inevitable downvotes-

Its true its smooth, simple, and does the job perfectly. Don't get me wrong IOS is better for mainstream America, but if you want the OS I personally like the most right now its WP7.

"Best OS" seemed highly subjective for the above statement so I fixed it for you ;)

No it is the best os. it doesn't have every app but operating system it is the best. It runs better on less resources, has the best battery life and is smoother than IOS.

Apple needs to get out of this stupid spec war they are having with android and just be apple. For me the best thing about IOS was the battery, simplicity, and support. They lost battery and simplicity.

And I assume you don't have any actual sources (beyond just your own personal opinion) for these statements right?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

I actually think WIndows Phone looks really nice and is starting to pick up. Plus that Nokia Lumia 900 looks sexier than even the iPhone dare I say.

Had it been available back in November, I would probably have gotten it instead of the 4S. :D

PS - I voted for WP7

Read some reviews of wp7. Have you used it? Are you a fan of tech or apple? If so why comment on threads about other devices

When the Nokia 900 hits Verizon I'm getting it no matter how much it costs.

Sent from my Windows7 Phone using Board Express

I have the money sitting in my bank account for the nokia 900 I am using the 800 right now and can't wait.

Android. I know how to use it and I have apps for it. My operator started offering iPhones last year, conveniently just when my Android was getting ready for replacement. I decided to try out iOS this time around but I don't hate Android *too* much...

The operators here have no interest in bringing out Windows phones so I've never tried one.

Not the Lumia 900? How come?

Btw I'll be sad to see you go boss.king :(

It won't be available in my country for quite a while, and I don't think my 3GS will last that long. I'm sorta in love with the Titan design anyway.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic about being sad to see me go, but I'll probably still be around MR for the foreseeable future, I enjoy the discussion here :)

Not being sarcastic. I know the regulars here that have good opinions an your one of them so never like to see em leave but makes perfect sense about the Titan > 900. Guess I just assumed you were in the U.S. ;)

Well thanks, I'm flattered :D. I'll still be around, though possibly more in the Community section more than the iPhone section. And no, I'm in New Zealand, oddly the country that got WP7 devices first and has since pretty much abandoned the OS (carriers that is).

I think with iOS' GUI looking stale and Android becoming overkill without changing much in overall look or stability, WP seems like the next best alternative. Something different to alot of people while the otehr OSes are already over 3-4 years old. Complacency is already happening with iOS and Android really hasn't changed much underneath until ICS with just a OEM skin on top prior.

And there is probably another generation of folks who only experienced Microsoft during the last few years and don't remember anything from Windows XP or prior. Just remember the Xbox 360 and Windows 7. Microsoft doesn't carry a stigma to them. I think already getting used to Metro UI is going to be a nice setup for Windows 8. Microsoft has come a long way considering they killed off Kin and Zune players real quick. Made alot of sales with Kinect. And could be making alot of money on the next generation Windows at least for the desktop space.

Driod Razr Maxx. It has double the battery capacity of the iPhone 4 & 4S. So it should be good for heavy usage.

The pixel density on Titan sucks (800x480 on a 4.7" device), apart from that the phone is really good:cool:

Yeah, the one thing I don't like about it is the pixel density. What I do like about is the screen size (for Netflix).

It's still better density than my 3GS :) (165PPI on the 3GS, 199PPI on the Titan)

To be honest the retina display never wowed me anyway, it would be nice to have but not a must-have in my books. I'm going for the European version too so I don't get all the problems the AT&T one seems to have either.
